Anyone know what this part is called?? by [email protected]
On a '98 dark blue Audi Quattro it's the black rubber strip that runs along each side, about 3/4 down. Mine is not painted, it's just black rubber. The damn thing is coming off of it's mounting (partially due to my kicking it). I can't find a parts place that carries it, so I'm thinking I'll...

A6 4.2 Transimission Problem by dph
I have had trouble with my A6 4.2 automatic transmission for about a year and the dealer can find nothing wrong. Intermittently when I accelerate from a dead stop the transmission does not deliver adequate power. Engine revs are appropriate for the speed but it feels like I have started in 2 or 3...

A4 Oil Usage by dph
My wife has a 1999 A4 3.0 that seems to use a lot of oil. She relisiously follows servicing Audi recommendations but has found that between servicing she can be down as much as 2 qts. of oil. The Audi service rep said that is normal and not to worry. She is worried that this is excessive. Is it?

Audi TT dashboard by Dr. SL?TS
Hi ! I'm having some trouble with the dash of my '99 TT coupe. Since a couple of months, the gauges of temperature and fuel are not displaying correct anymore. When my engine is "hot" let's say 90°C, the gauge is displaying 120°C. When it's cold, it's displaying almost 90°C. The same thing...

About the airbag light by Drazen Stojcic Buntovnik
Well, just wanted to thank everyone for the input, especially LeakiestWink. It turns out the stuck dashboard Airbag light was caused by the loose connector under the seat. My mechanic changed the worn out wiring, cleared the error from the computer and charged me nothing. Now I'm good to go for...

Airbag lamp on dashboard constantly on by Drazen Stojcic Buntovnik
Hello, few days ago the Airbag lamp on the dashboard lit up and didn't go off after few seconds as usually. I'm guessing something is wrong with the airbag system, but I'm a bit concerned as to what kind of expense I can expect if I take it to the service? I'm pretty much broke atm, so I can't...

2006 A4 2.0T Fuel Choice? by DrBwell
I'm in the process of buying the 2.0T with a 6 spd manual tranny, and I'm wondering what type of fuel Audi suggests to use? I also would like advice of what most drivers use in this car? If I chip the computer what HP and torque would I expect to have? Thanks, DrBwell

Webasto telestart T90 : useful for other cars? by drive_a_legend
I drive a Land Rover, and bought a Webasto heater unit. On Ebay I find several Telestart-units for this. Normally, a Telestart T70, or T80 would do. Volkswagen and audi cars seem to have T90-telestart-kits. Is there a difference? Can I use a complete T90 Volkswagen Telestart kit (handset and...
