Cleaning carburetors by
rudyeb
What is the most effective way to clean a carburetor for a do-it-yourselfer?
Is there one cleaner out there to soak a unit in that stands out above the
rest?
Thank you

Distilled or tap water? by
day115
I put in some tap water from the faucet into my coolant reservoir. I think

1962? Buick info by
lcguy1
My son just acquired an old(1962?) Buick LeSabre. We would like to
find out some information about it. It has a 9 digit VIN number and I
can not find any website which would give me information about it.
The VIN is 4J4009466. If anyone could help, it would be greatly
appreciated.

Does anyone know of a source for the Di-Noc wood grain film that was used on
the dashboards and window trims of yesteryear like on a 1941 DeSoto?
Thanks,

old oil filter question by
Nate Nagel
Hi all,
got a question about oil filter cartridges. I have a '62 Stude which
uses a replaceable-cartridge type oil filter. The cartridge is a Fram
C4 which is apparently a fairly common bypass-type cartridge. Here's
the thing, the housing was apparently made by Walker not Fram and the
gasket...
