Are the Alfa 156 any good? by Laurence
Hello all, I know this is possibly the wrong place to ask, but I am considering getting an 01/02 Alfa 156 2.4 JTD. But am hearing mixed reports about the reliability of the car and how well it is put together. Now the question is are these concerns justified? Thanks for any help. Laurence

166 Fuel Economy by Jon
Hi, My 166 2.5 V6 (1999) averages around 19.5 mpg, if I take it really gently on a motorway I can get his up to 23mpg. Is this normal /usuall? I read on a recent posting of someone who was getting 28mpg which is bit more respectable. If this is a problem, any ideas on the solution as the local...

156 Gearbox "Sticky" by Graeme Cosgrove
Fourth gear has started to get a bit "sticky". The gear can be selected and unselected easily enough but it "feels" sticky... ....imagine all the other gears had a metal on metal kind of feel, but 4th feels like there's a marshmallow stuck in the selector, and you get the idea. Any ideas? G
