Cars Blocking Fire Station - Revisited by
[email protected]
A few years ago I started a thread with the title "Cars Blocking Fire
Station Will Be Demolished". Today I was at the same situation, in
heavily congested traffic on Sepulveda Blvd in Sherman Oaks, CA
(northern suburb of Los Angeles).
I was 5th car in line to cross the KEEP CLEAR zone in front of...

Red-light camera monkey business may be a national trend
By Joel Hruska | Published: April 13, 2008 - 08:11PM CT
Red-light cameras are often billed as a great way to improve traffic
safety and prevent speeding. A few cities across America, however,
have been caught short-timing their own yellow...

Operation Coordinates: 2.38% by
Carl ROGÉRS
Hi Viatologists,
As of 15-Apr-2008, the Worldwide Highway Library provides geographic
coordinates for 2.38% of its 2,186 photographs. Through retroactive action,
the 'Operation Coordinates' program will increase the per centage of
photographs containing coordinates over time.

WTF?

Saw a motorcyclist carrying a bicycle by
Speeders & Drunk Drivers are MURDERERS[_1_]
He had one of those contraptions you see on the back of cars for carrying
bikes. But he had it on his motorcycle. Probably took the bike to the
mountains for some mountain biking. Prolly see more of that with the price
of gas going thru the roof.

Viatology and Vitalogy by
Carl Rogers
Hi Viatologists,
Yes, those subject terms look quite similar... They’re so similar
that my viewer logs show referrer-links for both terms.
The former term, viatology, has been coined to encompass the study of
roads. The latter is the name of a music album by an Alternative Rock
band named...

CLB incident by
Alexander Rogge
I didn't have driving problems all day, but just near my exit, a CLB had
to ruin my relaxing drive. I was in the right lane going 100, when a
driver merged in ahead and was going slower than desirable as I
approached. I started a normal pass in the centre lane when I noticed
an SUV starting...
