Transmission fluid change by
[email protected][_2_]
I need to change the fluid and filter in my 1976 corvette.
I called the local stealership and by the time they are done with
materials, fluid,
labour, and taxes, it is around $350. They wanted over $80 for a
filter and gasket!
Corvette Central - $12.95 or so...
I did some research on the web,...

'77 Corvette by
NapalmHeart[_2_]
I'm going to look at a '77 that I know is going to need a lot of cosmetic work, as the car spent a
lot of time in the sun. Is there anything in particular that I should look for as far as mechanical
or other issues that are particular to this year? The price I'm hearing is $2500, as the guy...

2010 Camaro SS by
Uncle_vito
Any one see a 2010 Camaro SS on the road. Wonder how well they are selling.
I see a few 6 cylinders advertised from the dealers on Edmunds.com
Leave it to GM to debut this car while they are in BK. Idiots.

GM Dealers Closing/Chicago by
Speaker of the Truth[_3_]
There is a ****load of GM dealers going bye bye. Only 1 dealer I know will
be left on the southern 1/2 of Chicago. There won't be many dealers left
east of 294 and north 0f 80-294.. Not sure about the northside. GM really
did have a slow and quiet retreat from inner city Chicago and close in...

Followup. 2008 Z06 Battery Draw Problem by
spud
Reference way below on my Z's battery draw down problem and going dead after
5 or 6 days. After half a dozen futile trips to the dealer I purchased it
from, I tried another dealer's service center across town to find the
problem.
Well, they informed me that there was a .45 mA intermittent...

Blue C5
My C5 left rear tire pressure sensor shows 27# with 32# in it. The
right rear shows 32#. Both read 32# with tire gauge. What is the fix
for this?

2004 HVAC Diplay by
Keith Segraves
Over the past 6 months or so the display for the HVAC controls has
gotten progressively dimmer. Now it is totally dark so I can't tell
what the outside temp is or see what I have the HVAC set at. I've
checked all of the fuses and they are all good. Does anyone have any
ideas on what else to...

GM Exects a bunch of schmucks by
Uncle_vito
They have sold all their stocks and bailed out on their company.
http://www.marke****ch.com/story/lutz-and-other-top-gm-executives-sell-shares
I only own a 64 Vette. I wouldn't own a newer GM car if they gave one to
me.

Looking for some nice interior shots..... by
Clams Canino
Of the '74 / 75 Vette.
Preferably Silver, but more importantly anything but black.
I'm a little hampered searching with a slow assed dial up - so if anyone
knows of some links I'll go check them out.

Striping a vette? by
Jim & lil
Hi... I have a 1977 bright orange (Ontario Orange) vette. I was thinking
about getting something to contrast the colour on the hood. Perhaps
something small in Black saying "350" in the spot where an L-82 would
sit...or somehing saying "high Performance" in black letters as an
example....has...

Is there an article somewhere?? by
Clams Canino
That lists all the 68isms that changed from 1969 forward? Or perhaps a paper
that covers the running changes in general to the C3?
I know about:
the key on the dash
the 4 red tail lights
the door opener button
the small cluster bezel
the lack of a headrest
the 2 "pockets" in the e-brake cover

HELP! by
Mark[_34_]
I have a STOCK BEAUTIFUL 86 that has 255/50/16 all the way around. They are
starting to show there age (cracks, road noise, ect.). I want to replace my
tires but it seems that 255/50/16 are very hard to come by nowadays.
What size(s) can I safely replace without buying new rims.
Thank You for...

What to buy by
Tikbalang[_2_]
I can buy a 2006 Corvette with only 10k miles for a very low price.
The thing is - it was wrecked and then restored. The title will say
"salvage".
The shop that did the work does only Corvettes and they have an
excellent reputation. There is a warranty. They have photos of every
step in the...

Parking lot Rage by
Mikep
So here I am parking in the Home Depot parking lot - for our international
readers, Home Depot is a very large store that sells home improvement
products. And they have a LARGE parking lot.
So I head off to the farthest space in the lot in my X5 (keeping on topic
for the BMW NG) - maybe 200...
