A6 Avant snowchain problem by
DJ
Hi folks
New poster so please bear with me if this has been posted before I have
looked as far back as I can go.
I need a set of snow chains and my neighbour, who owned an 1998 A6
previously, gave me a set he said he had used.
My car (2003) has the 215/55/16 tyre and apparently the wheel is...

chip or other to improve 01 2.8 throttle control? by
RapidRon
The throttle control continues to be the one major (and I mean major) disappointment in my '01 A4 2.8. We've owned it now for most of a year, and put another 15,000 miles on it's original 13,000, and have had no solutions offered by the dealer service department. The car is still under extended...

used wagons by
newman
All,
I am in the market for a wagon and like several Audi models. I was
hoping from some input from the Audi community.
1. The 2002 Allroad - Is this a beefed up A6 Avant? I like the styling,
but don't know if I can afford to fix the twin turbo when it fails.
What's the reliability on these...

Suspect steering to Audi A4 following accident repair (UK based) by
Typo
I recently had a minor dispute with a lorry whose rear wheels scraped
along the side of my Audi A4. This necessitated a respray of the
offside of the car and replacement of various trim components. The
offside front wheel also suffered a knock and this upset the steering
system, which was...

1993 Audi 90s A/C problems by
Tracy
I just recently bought an Audi 1993 Audi 90s. I'm attempting to charge the
A/C, which is R134a. My question is, does Audi make some type of special
attachment(fitting) that needs to use to recharge this thing? I'm
attempting to charge from the low side, under the car. Any help of advise
on this...

Remote Start on 2002-2004 A6s ? by
eBob.com
Does anyone have any experience adding remote start to a 2002, -3, or -4 A6?
The recent cold snap here in the north east has me thinking maybe I'd like
to add it to my new(er) Audi (as soon as I find one with the right options
at the right price).
Thanks, Bob

A6 Avant Multi by
Mark
Hi all,
Can anyone give me some idea of what I should be getting in terms of fuel
economy. I've got a 1.9TDI 2004 A6 Avant, with the multitronic box.
I'm doing a lot of town driving, which isn't good for economy - about 34mpg.
But even on a motorway run I'm only getting 36mpg. The car has covered...

Thanks to a post on body eronomics....I drapped my arms over the steering
wheel...so that my wrists hung over the steering wheel. I always had the

Lubrication for Door Hinges A4 by
James Winslow
What would you recommend for lubricating the door hinges on a 2000 A4? The
driver side door is very stiff to open and close. Is lithium grease okay as
a lubricant?

2005 A4 by
Mike M
My wife is interested in a 1.8 A4 AWD. Having experience with Volvo AWD I am
not interested in AWD. How does the Audi AWD system work? Is it better than
other cars?
Thank You
Mike

I was driving home yesterday and the check engine light came on. Went

So, I went to the dealer this AM, got the $8 part and got my Audi
manual out. I have both the factory and Haynes manual. I...

I'm SICK....the A4 has to go! by
JJ
I complained about the compartment of the A4 for a guy who is 6'5. I had a
passat.....never a problem...but not NEAR as fun. The center consol pushes
on the outside of my right leg...causing foot numbness....and the stiff
seats cut into the back of my thigh. My ortho doc said it probably is...

Leased A Lemon? by
Richard Periut
Hi all,
I need some advice; because what has happened to me is really beyond my
belief.
Two years ago, I leased an Audi Quattro A6. The care handles smooth and
I love it. Except, every month and sometimes twice a month, I have to
take it to the dealer because of a sensor light turning on, brakes...
