Pine sap - argh! by
dwight[_5_]
I have a beautiful tall pine tree that overhangs the driveway.
Unfortunately, that means billowing clouds of pollen in the spring and pine
sap dripping from May through August.
I've just taken all of the drips off of the paint and glass on both
Mustangs, but I'm not sure what to do for the...

Where did everyone go? by
Jimmy Roberts
Obviously it has been a while since I visited this group...
This used to be one of the best places to meet and talk about
mustangs...
It seems things have changed...
Is there a new and better place to be?
Thanks!

Old farts in nice cars by
dwight[_5_]
I drive the same 12-mile stretch of highway every day, going home at lunch
to let the dog out, then back to work. I know every bump on that highway and
every likely hiding spot for troopers. I know that around the 15th and 30th
of each month, they set up harvest zones and pulling over speeders...

Hey TFROG and anybody else have this problem ? by
Suggib
did you say a while back you had to replace a corroded wire ?
Know which one or which bundle?
I have cured an intermittent shutdown while driving to about 99%, (replaced
crooded ground connector for computer next to battery, partial short in
coil)
but it will still shut down some times just...

Oil can be made by
Les Benn[_2_]
Methane gas is an abundant natural resource. It is CH4 One part carbon 4
parts hydrogen. It is emitted by Animals and rotting garbage.
In a recent experiment some Methane was subjected to intense pressure and as
a result Crude oil was the by product. One of the big oil sayings and the

Cash for clunkers? by
Dick R.
Anyone here want to trade in their "gas guzzling" Mustang
or any other vehicle for a new ... Toyota or another mundane
vehicle? I didn't think so. As I understand it, the vehicles
that are traded in have to be destroyed. Personally, it seems
like a stupid program, but who am I to say.

Fuel efficient vehicles by
Dick R.
Slightly OT, and I totally agree with fuel efficiency and
less dependence on oil, but ...
A slight problem also needs to be addressed - less gas tax
revenue. In Minnesota and probably many other states, gas tax
revenue is used to build and maintain roads, so the state will
have to find another...

Age, plastics, and electrical lines by
dwight[_5_]
Well, TFrog is back from the shop.
When turning the key to ON, no sound from the fuel pump. No fuel pump, no
start. I'd have thought it was one of two things - either the fuel pump
crapped out or the fuse link was bad. But, no, mechanic traced it back to a
corroded section of wire and spliced...

Unmodified Fox GTs Hard to Come By by
lopator
I've been searching for a straight and unmodified 1986 Mustang GT for
over a month and am having trouble locating one. Are these finally
getting rare? Most of them I'm finding are poorly repainted, abused,
full of tacky aftermarket add-ons, and sporting "phat" rims. The only
straight bodies...

WTB Wheels 18x8.5 Bullit by
RBnDFW
Looking for a 2nd set of wheels for my 2007 Shelby GT
Prefer the polished aluminum, but would also consider argent or black.
Ideal would be a set of low-miles takeoffs with as-new tires.
Would also consider lightweight bare wheels in this size for autocross use.
I'm in DFW TX, will pay shipping...

problem ? by
green
While driving a 1993 mustang 5.0, it just died and rolled to a stop,
It would start up again go for awhile and then the engine would stop again,
Sometime it would not like to start. But I got it home about 2 miles away,
The battery show quite low voltage, when it was stopped. Headlights were...

Mustang 5.0 Coyote V8 on the way by
Ðavïd[_2_]
Rumors of the legendary 5.0's return have been nonstop since, well, the 5.0
left us way back in 95 or so. An Australian Ford executive, Russell
Christophers, has confirmed that the Blue Oval is building an all-new,
all-aluminum DOHC 5.0 liter V8. The codename of this project is "Coyote",
and...

About 5%. Those are still pretty deep gears, though.
