What's with all these spam postings?? by
Mark W
What's with all these nonsense spams that are getting posted in the
middle of the night? They're not even commercial! I checked a few out
and they don't have any links or sales pitch or anything...just a string
of nonsense sentences.
Any clues why they're being sent or how to stop them?

the NEW EPA standards and 30 MPG under the old standards on...

What's your winter project? by
Sneaks
So, what is everyone working on this winter? I'm going to hopefully finish
my doorpanels and seats. My wife is being patient with them in our bedroom,
but I'm sure she'd like them out of there. Then there is the motorcycle in
the corner next to the dresser............

Whats it cost. by
DogDiesel
To restore a VW air-cooled these days.
A few scenarios .
A disassembled rolling good body bug. With and without a motor.
One with welded in rust repair panels. that needs assembled and painted.
Not running. or with the original motor that was running when it was parked.
A running...

Wheel adapters/safe? by
Mike West
On my first Bug in the 60's I had some wheel adapters on the back so I could
use some 5 spoke American Mags.
My question is, after all these years are they safe to use? I have my
chopped 66 running and it has late model 4 lug drums and I want something
different than the wheels that are available...

Wheel Alignment or ??? by
Mel P.
My front pass. side wheel is wearing on the inside a lot faster than the
middle and outside edge. Is this an alignment fix, individual adjustment
for that wheel or is my framehead crooked? Mind you DS wheel is OK.

Wheel bearing question. by
2ndKnight[_2_]
I am getting ready to replace a noisy front wheel bearing on my '78
Cabriolet. It has been quite awhile since I have done this. How
much grease should be used? When I took off the drum I found the
whole inner cavity filled with grease. Is that necessary? Should one
use more grease than a...

Wheel bearing seats by
Bas
Hi Ramva!
This is my first post here, but I've been reading along for a while now.
Hope to find an answer here for my question, so here goes ;-)
I have a 1974 standard beetle on which I'm rebuilding the front axle.
But the spindles are causing trouble, I've got 4 of them and all show
wear...

Wheel Camber by

I think it's called camber... One of my front wheels is wearing on the
inside edge more than the rest. Can I adjust something? Is it possible
that my axle is crooked?

Wheel Center Caps? by
Jerry Jasperson
I have a set of wheels on my dune buggy that I can't remember
where they came from. All I remember is that they were called " dune
buggy specials".
Anyway, the center caps are flash chrome plated plastic held
on by five screws. Anyone familiar with these. I need to replace a
broken one.
Thanks,...

wheel cylinder by
DB
I've been losing brake fluid for the past season in my stock 56 oval &
finally found the source (well, it really revealed itself). My right front
wheel cylinder is now leaking pretty seriously. I've looked at Bentley for
"how to" but reading the lack of detail leaves me a little...
