Thanks Pinion Seal Replacement on 90 GMC Pickup by
R Alexander
Group,
First, thanks to the guys who responded to my request for info.
I'm real clear now that changing pinion oil seal on differential is NOT a
DIY repair.
Took it to A+ Transmission shop in town and they put in a new one for $140.
No more 90 weight oil on my driveway.

Ignition coil question by
mbjj[_1_]
After an engine starts does the coil continue to put out high voltage to the
distributor? Or does it go out of service kind of like the starter once the
engine takes over?
thanks

Question about repairing clutch plate on A/C ... pin needed by
Greg Bailey
I have a 1990 Plymouth Sundance, bought it new, have had it for 16 years,
it's getting a little long in the tooth but I've kept it up mechanically and
it's a good "running around town" car.
A couple of weeks ago, the air conditioning cut out. I took it to my
mechanic and learned that what had...

Hi,
My starter remote control is no longer working. I need to find the
brand of my remote starter system so I can have the remote control
replaced. It's not written on my remote control. I need to find the
"box" (I don't know the exact term used), maybe I can find the brand
name there. I own a...

Stripped threads/teeth on Honda Civic power window assembly? by
New At This
My '96 Honda Civic HX has an automatic window problem that I've
created:
I have a little, solar-driven fan that fits in the window. You use it
when the car is sitting for a period of time, by inserting it on top of
the window and then tightening the window to as high in the window
channel as the...

Shawna via CarKB.com
I drive a 1988 C1500 recently have noticed that the blinkers were flashing
quicker than usual which usually is a sign that you have a blinker out,

headlights are on I have no brake lights, when my headlights are off I have

Stock versus Mods by
zabman44
Hey everyone, I was just checking out this site at
'www.fastestfinishes.com' (http://www.fastestfinishes.com) and it has
drag times for almost every stock car on the market. I was just
wondering what mods people have to their cars and how they compare to
the drag times of the unmodded cars (so I...

1979 Cadillac Fleetwood: good idea for restoration? by
F. Baker
I am considering purchasing and restoring a 1979 Cadillac
Fleetwood with the 425 CI motor .
Some questions:
Was this a good year for the Fleetwood? I'm told by various sources
that the '79 Fleetwood is a good one.
The motor only puts out 195 HP. What would you do to tune it
for greater HP? I...

I have a 95 Mazda Protege which does not have the OBDII connector, but
the older OBDI connector. I'm told these were the transition year, so
I'm hoping that may be the source of my problem. The check engine
light came on after I replaced the broken down pipe (piece between the
manifold and cat)...

I let some kids doing a fundraiser wash my car...now i've got about 15
spots of varying sizes (up to 2 in. diameter) where the clear-coat has

coats of Turtle Wax, but I'm going to have to touch up the clear coat
on the rest. Is...
