1999 Grand Prix GT Coupe Daytime Running Lights wont come on anymore by markm75
Anyone run into this and know what the solution/cost might be to fix? A sensor of some variety? (the sensor which allows the regular headlights to come on when it gets dark still works though). Cheers

Caliper pins by clifto
A friend called. He has a Grand Marquis, I believe it's a 2006 with ABS. Said a caliper pin shattered on him Saturday while hand-tightening it. Got replacements (for $100!) and they gave him two different-sized pins and boots. We can't find any information on which pin goes where, i.e. whether the...

car hinges by Nouma
I'm doing a research on car hinges (doors, hood, lift gate) and I'm trying to map the technologies (stamped hinges, profiled hinges or forged hinges) that each car maker uses on its different models. Unfortunately, I don't live in the US, so I don't have the opportunity to go through each car...

I just got a wheel alignment done. The car didn't seem to pull, but because there was more wear on the outside of the front right tire than the inside, I assumed it needed to be done. I have a couple questions about the printout from the before/after and the guy at kal-tire wasn't exactly...

Awl-- 07 Honda Fit--yeah, I know, it's only 1/2 a car.... :) Indeed, as short as an Echo! 4 cyl, 1500 cc, about 110 hp, sposedly almost 35 mpg (Consumer Report) I ask because the initial mpg's are awful, between 20-25, mebbe better now, w/ 500 mi. on it. Is that normal?
