New mustang commercial is creepy? by twk
I thought it was pretty cool, all the people seeing one and imagining it the way they would like. <http://jalopnik.com/5888029/fords-2013-mustang-commercial-is-sort-of-cre epy> I liked the morphing effect. -- For all you know this message was... Sent via an exclusive network, on a snobby...

A trip to the local Ford dealer by Dickr
I brought my 2010 Flex in to the dealer for routine maintenance. Busy day for them, and while I was waiting I checked out some of the cars on the showroom floor. I was very careful not to drool on the 2 Shelby Mustangs (both $50K), but there was another car that I thought was very nice. It was a...

I didn't know I was driving a truck by Dickr
According to my insurance company, my 2010 Ford Flex is considered a truck. As I recall, it's built on the same platform as the Ford Taurus. Very curious. Dick

Return of the SVO Rumors Persist And Grow by [email protected][_2_]
I say if a 4 cylinder engine returns to the stable, why not offer a hotted-up version? http://www.themustangnews.com/content/2012/02/will-2015-see-the-return-of-mustang-svo/ Love to see it with a bi-plane spoiler and a small SVO badge on the rear end. Patrick

Latest JD Power by [email protected][_2_]
Just a Ford size snippet. Ford Motor Co. improved four positions to No. 8. Also mentioned by J.D. Power & Associates as performing particularly well were the Ford Mustang, GMC Yukon and Porsche 911. Patrick

Interesting Data On Mustang Theft by [email protected][_2_]
An interesting article... ---- No one could have guessed that a sporty little two-door named the Mustang would go on to sell more than a half-million vehicles in its first year, and that it would become an iconic American car almost overnight. To date over eight and a half million Mustangs have...

Game Changers: Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S by [email protected][_2_]
Folk's I'm going to predict these two cars will alter the future of affordable, RWD, 2-door coupes. Small dimensions, simplistic, stylish, _lightweight_, affordably priced, and with decent power, Team Mustang and Camaro better be paying attention. If they're not, they will lose the next...

Low volume Shaker 1000 trunk subs by Brian V
Hey guys, Anyone heard of this one before? My subs in my trunk are working, but the volume is very low, bass inside car is fine. Fuses 6, 9 (under hood) and 20 (kick panel) are all good, I couldn't find any others related. Yes, Shaker option is on in the deck. I've even reseated all the connectors....

I'm Going To Puke! by [email protected][_2_]
Please, if you want to do this to a Mustang, use a base version -- not a Roush, Cobra or other Mustang specialty models. It just ain't right. http://www.stangtv.com/videos/funny/video-one-way-to-kill-a-ford-mustang-roush-427r/ Patrick

The New GT500 Is Freakin' Quick! by [email protected][_2_]
The lucky guys over at Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords have just published a new story on their inside access to the development of the 2013 Shelby GT500. We earlier showed you a similar story from Road & Track, but while that article focused mostly on the handling improvements developed on the...

Future Classics by [email protected][_2_]
An interesting article. ----- Itís pretty obvious that Mustang fans believe the modern Boss 302 will be a future classic, but what about the rest of the automotive community? According to Hagerty, at least, the Boss 302, specifically the Laguna Seca model, is destined to be a collector car in the...

My Boy Goes Car Shopping by [email protected][_2_]
He digs Audis, but has a thing for the new Chrysler 300C. Then he sees pics of the 392 Super Bee, and LOVES it. He says it would have to be in black and he might go with the 6-speed manual. I can't stop grinning; I seem to have taught him well. The production is only 1,000, not sure how many,...

Runway Racing by [email protected][_2_]
High-end, mostly Euro machinery, but still cool to watch. Good footage of two Ford GTs. The first one drags a Ferrari (very close race) and at the very end of the clip a GT thunders by the camera. It's all good video. http://www.autoweek.com/article/20120126/CARNEWS01/120129887 Patrick
