To everyone wanting repair advice & direction... by Lane
I've seen a lot of people asking here recently, "where is this..." "how do I do that...". Rather than solely relying on the kindness of strangers to post, pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual for your car at any auto parts store for around $10. It is amazing what you can do with one (along with...

Upper strut mounts all the same? by Frank
I found very little comments on the net concerning the upper strut mounts. Will a Monroe strut mount perform and last as long as an OEM one when runnig a KYB GR-2 and H&R or Eibach springs (driving style is "hard on tires and suspension")? Any third party struct mount I should now off? Thanks,

Remote starter causes air bag light to stay on by [email protected]
I just had an after market remote starter installed in my 2002 L200 Saturn. The unit is a Valet Remote Start System model 561r. When I use the remote start to start the care the air bag light stays on. If I shut the car off and start with the key the air bag light goes off. Did they hook...

1999 SL2 by John[_46_]
I have a four door 1999 Saturn SL2 Automatic that just recently started having electrical issues. About two months ago was driving in extreme heat, shut off to fill with gas, and would not restart. After sitting in shade for about an hour (jump did no good battery fine) it restarted and made it...

2001 "S" series? by Joe[_6_]
I think that's what it is. 57,000 miles. Very good buy to me if I choose to get it. Any issues like the 1995 "oil burner" I've got now or something similar that would make me want to avoid this car? Joe in Northern, NJ - V#8013-R Currently Riding The "Mother Ship"

Blinking coolant lights on '96 SW2 wagon by marcodbeast
Hi all - several times in the past two weeks, I've had 2 indicators - looks like they are probably "low coolant" and "hot" judging by the symbols - flash red at me maybe 12 times in a row after starting down the road. I can't find my manual, so I went to refill my plastic coolant tank this...

Brake Light Bulbs and Oxygen Sensor by Scott
Hi, I have a 1996 Saturn SC2, 100K miles. I need to replace two of my bulbs in the spoiler brake light. When I purchase the bulbs, do they come in those plastic holders, or do the bulbs pop out of the holders, and the bulbs sold seperatly? Also, how many oxygen sensors does my car have? I see...

Issue with a 97 Saturn SL1 by CuriousOnly
I am having an issue with the switch located underneath the clutch pedal in my Saturn. Or at least I think it's the switch. Here's the issue: Sometimes I turn the key and nothing happens, as if the clutch pedal isn't being pressed. If I work it enough times (sometimes enough is once or twice,...

I own a 2001 Saturn LW200. There is lamp that indicate the moment to change oil. I ask to the dealer how the system decide that it is time to change oil. He didn't really knows. Servise Engine Soon - After rain by AnthonyS
On my 96 SL the "Service Engine Soon" comes on after a heavy rain. After the car runs awhile (I guess until the wet area dries) the car will restart with no trouble light. The leak is most likely a clogged drain allowing water to drip down the fire wall or other spot. Has anyone found and solved...
