2000 Sunfire A/C Problem by No Name
The A/C clutch needed replacing on this car; it was making a lot of noise when disengaged. It always engaged reliably though when the dash A/C switch was pressed. I took the car into the shop and they put on a remanufactured clutch assembly. However, when I pressed the A/C switch on the dash the...

R & R 91 Tercel starter by Tim B
My mom's 91 Tercel is acting like the starter solenoid contacts need replacement. The location of the starter looks awkward to reach. What's the best approach to removing it? Is there a way to get it out without removal of the intake manifold? Any pictures available on a site somewhere? I...

Left the lights on while car was off ~1 week ago. Started up after a while, and drove it for ~30 minutes to replenish the battery. As of late (can't remember if it was before or after this happened) the voltage seemed to be a bit higher on the meter then usual. Yesterday morning, started her up,...

1993 Mercury Marquis TPS by Don[_14_]
I have a 1993 Mercury Marquis that needs a TPS. The steel screw seems to be tight into the aluminum body. Seems like a quarter inch hex head would have been preferable. Are there any tricks in getting the screw out without ruining the phillips head? Thanks Don

digital speed by [email protected]
I was just wondering why most cars don't have a digital readout of your current speed as opposed to the gauge. I think a readout would be easier for the brain to process, possibly reducing accidents.

94 Plymouth Acclaim Squeaks like an SOB by Helvis[_2_]
After my neighbor changed the timing belt for me a while back the car started to squeal something awful. It appears to be the air conditioner belt or ac itself. Most of the time it squeals when the clutch on the ac kicks in but sometimes it will do it without it spinning. My haynes book doesn't...
