2005 Engine Cover by [email protected]
I just saw this on EBAY if anyone is looking for a cover for their 2005 mustang. This looks like the 2005 engine bay cover Ford showed on the concept Mustang. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7964702952&category=46098&sspagename=WDVW

Deceleration valve? by Joe
I have a 1972 Ford Mustang, 351C, 4bbl, 4-speed manual. I need to replace or reroute around the deceleration valve (a/k/a distributor vacuum advance control valve). I can't find a replacement for it anywhere. Does anyone know where to find a replacement or how to route around the valve? It is...

Great News For The Ford Faithful! by [email protected]
AMY WILSON | Automotive News DETROIT -- Ford Motor Co.'s performance group is bigger and better-funded than ever, says Ford product chief Phil Martens. Despite a two-year drought that won't see an SVT-branded vehicle on the market until mid-2006, Ford has expanded its Special Vehicle Team to...

How long from factory to dealer? by Quiet Desperation
My Mustang GT supposedly left the factory 2-3 weeks ago. How long should it take to get to California? How long should I wait before I begin suspecting they sold it at a markup rather than take my promised MSRP, and are hoping I give up and go elsewhere?

'88 LX 5.0 not running after sitting (long) by JS
I have a problem that has me a bit perplexed... Today a friend of mine and I started up two 5.0 cars that sat in a field for the last few months or so, waiting for the spring thaw. Both cars are as stock as you can find 'em, and ran with no problems when parked. The one, an '85 GT 5.0 CFI AOD...

engine to engine stand bolts by Hurt
When I did a search on this subject I couldn't find the right answer. I couldn't simply take the existing bolts and match them up because I didn't have any. Anyway, the bolts that you need for a small block ford is 7/16" 14 thread count (or whatever term is appropriate), not the 20 count like...

99 GT Front brake upgrade by Rodney Brown
Are the slotted disks worth the extra money? We were looking into a brake problem and found the rotor was broken! The wheel lug plate had separated from the disk part. Anyway, we now need new disks, pads, etc. We certainly want to go with a dustless pad. Thanks, Rodney

Hello and Just bought an '03 by Carl
Hi, all... I just bought my third Mustang, a 2003 with the 3.8 V6 and slushbox. The other two were a '71 and a '79 Turbo Cobra; after the Cobra, I swore I'd never own another Ford product, much less a Mustang, but I finally gave in after 15 years. I plan to do a few minor mods, like a K & N air...

I'm putting the quarter windows back in and can't get the regulator to work correctly. Does anyone have a sketch on how the levers go? The Ford manual isn't clear on this. Thanks.
