Why Do American Makers Go for Big Displacement by
stork
It seems that German car makers favor high output with small
displacement, but Americans favor getting that output through large
displacement. For example, the new GM Z06 Vette rumoured to be
launched in 05 will feature a 7 liter engine to make around 500-600hp.
But, Porsche will get similar power...

How to align Camshaft Position Sensor? by
[email protected]
Is there any way to properly align the camshaft position sensor in a
4.2L V6 (from a 1997 F-150) without having to go out and spend $60 to
$100 for a "synchro positioning tool" ???
I hate to spend that kind of money on a tool that I might never need
again.
TIA, john w.

noticed that they now had two different 5W-30 products in stock - one had
the normal blue cap, and other other had a grey cap. The product

[email protected]
My car is a 10 year old car, over 134K miles, drives well, but I'm
hearing sounds coming from the transmission. It drives well though.
I'm trading it in for a new car because I know repairs will be costly.

The mileage in my truck recently dropped from an average of about 25

current going through the electrical lines that go to the sensors and
the carbuerator. The...

damage is small ripples in the metal about 6 inches long. There was no
