Electrical Harness by [email protected]
I have a 2003 BMW 325xi. I know almost nothing about cars. I took my car to the dealer last week because the engine was riding very rough; the dealer diagnosed the problem as a cylinder not working (due to issues with a coil). A few days after I left the dealer, the problem came back, and I...

Current M5 questions by daz
Hi, I am looking to buy the latest shape M5 in the next couple of months and just had a few questions:- 1. Did they make any "facelifts" during the model? eg. I used to own an M3 and they changed the light clusters to LED between the 53 and 04 versions. (that's end of 2003 and start of 2004...

E46 Camshaft Position Sensors by David
I have a P0369 code which comes and goes, and I'm shopping for an exhaust camshaft position sensor. I found that prices range from $38 to about $110. The cheapest sensor looks just like the original, but the Bilstein Febi for about $68 looks a bit different. Since I already had to replace this once...

Intake Cam Position Sensor Errors 2001 e39 530i 98,000 miles by mark barron
Following several '41' errors, once followed by a limp home mode episode, I replaced the sensor with one from Febi. The sensor came with a gasket that was rather small in cross section. I bought the "thicker" one recommended by the seller. With this recommended gasket the sensor seemed to fit...

1998 e39 bmw 528i sedan. The speedometer DO NOT read at all. The gas gauge is not reading correct, it would read 3/4 tank but you would run out of gas. And read empty when tank is full.... it does what it wants to do. The temperature gauge is never centered.. the needle only gets to about 10...

1998 M3 E36 70k miles I have some slow (but getting faster) leaks from the radiator and some hoses. "Efficient Dynamics" pah! by David Slelton
Hi again All Any one else tried the "Efficient Dynamics" models with electric power assisted steering (not the active steering) ? I found them to be quite vague and lacking in feedback to the extent that it does not feel like a BMW should. The "Brake Energy Regeneration" is not real brake energy...
