TFrog, RIP by dwight[_5_]
A note, to anyone who remembers, that I am now out of the Mustang world. For one of the rare moments in my adult life, I am without a Mustang. Both of my '93 5.0s have been in maintenance mode for the last 10 years or so. I really didn't want to sink a lot of money into either one, but tried to...

1993 Mustang "Transition Phase"!? by A Guy Named Steve
"Everything about this stang is a cobra minus the emblem on the side." Well, that and it's obviously an AOD car, has a standard 5.0 intake, all the stuff that's hidden from view of these photos, and oh yeah... you're full of it! http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/3296902118.html

NoOp's Test Drives by [email protected][_2_]
Here are some notes from test drives I did during the holidays. Enjoy, or scorn. Test drive #1: An all-black, and with what looked like a fine blue metallic, Scion FR-S/6-speed auto w/paddle shifters. First, let me say thank you Toyota for NOT festooning the FR-S with all sorts of skirts, slats,...

Vette gets its weight down another 100lbs. How about Mustang? by RichA
Giving a fat man a Segway will allow the fat man to "walk" faster than a normal man, but he's still fat. http://www.bbc.com/autos/story/20130114-2014-chevrolet-corvette-stingray

2011 - 2012 Mustang GT Coupe with HID? by Justin[_10_]
I'm thinking of an '11/12 Mustang GT Coupe (not convertible) for the Spring. I know they come in automatic, but what about HID or Xenon headlights? I'll probably go Ford CPO.

Performance SUVs. What's The point? by [email protected][_2_]
Seems most manufactures have one of these now. Here's the latest model. http://www.thetorquereport.com/2011/09/maserati_kubang_suv_concept_pr.html#more But I don't understand why. Why a jacked up, what is essentially a high-performance car? (The hulk-like body in combination with the thin...

Americans allow cars to be destroyed by the storm by RichA
There was a rumour that Toyota had allowed hundreds of cars to be destroyed during the Thailand floods of last year. The cost to move them to higher ground and bring them back, then sell them with mileage would have been too great. So, they let them get destroyed by the floods and simply...

Mustang V6s... by XS11E[_1_]
I'm investigating the possibility of a used Mustang and I'm looking for information on reliability and serviceability of various V6s used. I know there was the 3.8, 4.0, 3.7 etc. is there one to avoid? One to prefer? NOTE: I'll probably look for a V8 but there seems to be a bunch of V6s...

Gas price down to $4.25(per U.S. gallon) in Toronto. I feel so privileged. by RichA
It had risen to $5.04/gal not long ago. Still, with oil at only $85/ barrel and the drop in demand since summer, gasoline should be a LOT cheaper, like $3.65/gallon, even with the taxes. Meanwhile, the refiners are crying poverty. So where is the money going? The cost of production of the oil...

2013 8.8" axle for an '09 v6 by twk
I'm contemplating an 8.8" axle, 3.73, T-Loc, GT takeoffs again. This time more serious than ever. /grin I see an ad from speedconcepts.net that the 2013 GT takeoff will bolt right up to my '09. Can anyone verify that? I would swear that I heard different. Okay, it needs a cobra pinion flange,...
