Have you replaced an AT Cooler? by
bimbim
I'm conditioning myself to replace my AT cooler on a 1995 325i. It's
leaking somewhere. Some people say it might just be the O-ring but
garages are saying it's the AT cooler itself.
However nobody did a real look at it as it is covered by the fan in
front, plastic at the bottom, and radiator at the...

E30, cold weather and my dash... by
Psycho
Well, last night it got down to a brisk 25 degrees in my
neighborhood. I was greeted this morning when I got in my car with
another big ass crack in my dashboard. This happened last year as well
during cold weather. I'm not really upset about it today as I already
had a cracked dash and haven't...

Headlamp repair on 530i (E39) by
Are you sure that the headlight adjusters have not broken?
This is common, even just from being jarred by bumpy roads.
I've replaced both sides once already.
See the web page below.
The last diagram are of the adjusting parts that...

E36 Radiator Coolant leak by
[email protected]
I have a coolant leak from the seam between the integrated reservoir
bottle and the black plastic frame around the radiator in a 1995 E36
318. Is there a way to fix just the seam without having to replace the
entire radiator?
Thanks in advance.

ABS light (1996 318iC E36) by
slmnhq
Hi All,
Sometime ago I had my car's (1996 318iC E36) brakes replaced. About a
month later, the dreaded ABS light came on. After doing some initial
research, I found out that it could be because of dirt accumalation on
the speed sensors on the wheel which connect to the ABS controller. I
had a...

Replacing E36 Microfilter on UK (RHD) cars by
JB
....is an absolute doddle! 5mins from start to finish. I was expecitng about
an hours worth of fiddly work and loss of much skin on my hands, but ity
turns out for a RHD car it's a piece of ****.
Drop the panel below the steering column (4 screws) and remove. you can then
actually see the 'locking...

E83 Squeaking driver's seat by
Class-1
My leather driver's seat has started squeaking when going around
corners (i.e. when I shift weight slightly to the left).
It sounds like it is coming form the left side, very near to the seat
adjustment controls. For lack of a better description, it is like a
faint bedspring-type noise.
It...

What the hey is this BMW??? by
Ernie Babin
Its a pre-1970 1800 or 2000. Key to it is has 4 doors. Since its in the
states, I would assume its a 2000 because of the larger engine displacement.
The 2000 was replaced by the 2500 and 2800, the 2800 being known as the
Bavaria in the states.
Not a lot of these were brought into the states, so...

L. D. Mormino
I need the crankshaft hub for 84 733i. This the part that the crankshaft
pulley and damper bolt onto and the key fit into. It is odd that this part
broke in the car but it has and I am having trouble finding one outside of
the dealer. I would appreciate any help. Larry
