This damn truck, which I've had since new, has AWAYS run up the rpm WAYYY more than necessary on a cold startup, rattling the valves. Dealer said this was 'normal'. My dad always told me never to gun a cold engine, cause the oil was all down in the pan. How about some ideas here, boys? I've only...

Warn Winch question by Zenteren
I'm owner of Warn M6000 12V winch. It is old for about 1 year and now when I disengage the drum (freespooling) I need to pull cable really hard to rotate drum. In some cases it is even impossible to freespool cable out, and then the only way is to use remote control. Anybody here knows the trick...

GMC 1500 Suburban 4x4 mystery problem by Mikal Fisher
My 1999 Sub has been a great ride and until recently never let me down. Here's the problem. After about 2 hours on the highway, the engine shuts off. I can get it started again, but it will misfire and then shut off again. If I let it sit for an hour or so, its good for another 2 hours before it...

R12 Topping Off by Spiderman
I have a 1989 Chevy S10 Blazer that blows out warm A/C. It's low on R12 so the compressor just cycles on/off. I'm gonna top it off with R12. Is a gauge necessary or can I just play it "by air". Where can I find the normal low-side, high-side pressure ranges?
