Tires for JK by
AJ[_12_]
Need new shoes for a stock unlimited 08 JK. Do a bunch of off road
stuff but not rock crawling. What is the max I can fit without rubbing.
At present I have stock 255 75 17 on stock rims. Also we have an RV
so we do not do snow either..

Axle nut cracked by
J. Clarke[_2_]
Well with new hub and half-shaft in hand, I went to replace them (note--
noise and lots of slop on the right front) on my '97 ZJ 5.2 today and
when I pulled the retainer off the axle nut, half the nut fell out in my
hand, and the rest unscrewed with no effort. Looking at it it looks
like the...

D35 axle bearings by
C.L. \Budd\ Cochran
About a year and a half ago I bought an 88 XJ (4.0, Renix, BA-10/5, NP-231,
3.07 axles) with a lot of probs, but I thought, "it's cheap enough and
shouldn't cost a lot . . . . ."
Yeah, right. So far the cost is over $1500 not counting the purchase price.
I replaced the bearings on the D-35 rear...

97 ZJ front bearing/hub question by
J. Clarke[_2_]
Well, the mechanic at the muffler shop found that the right front wheel
bearing is going--I'm going to check that out myself but he seems to
know what he's doing. If in fact it needs to be replaced, what's the
best way to go, pay whatever Jeep wants for an original part, the Timken
that...

Questions About '96 XJ Rear Wiper Blades by
bw-fl
I put Rain-X Latitude beam-style wipers on my 1996 XJ's windshield,
but Rain-X doesn't make that style for the rear wiper, which is a 12"
blade on the pin-style arm.
I bought a 12" Rain-X WeatherBeater Blade for the rear, but had to
return it because it would only fit the J-hook arm, and it...

Replaced the Cat and everything behind it on my '97 ZJ 5.2 and it got a
lot quieter for about a week, then started getting progressively louder.
Got under it today with a light and found out why

Hello everyone.
I have a 95 Wrangler. Stock axles with 4.10 gears, Detrioit locker in

Help: Stripped Shock stud on Rear of 88 Cherokee by
Dab
Hi:
I've got a stripped shock mount stud thread on the rear axle (D440) of
an 88 cherokee. I've been looking at various options to clean it up
including:
Cutting off the stud and drilling a hole for a new stud or bolt
Rethreading what's left of the threaded stud to the next size smaller...

Check engine light by
Larry[_21_]
My "check engine" light came on and is staying on for my 98 Cherokee
with 74,000 miles. The manual is sort of vague on what the light
might mean.
Has anyone else had experience with this?
Thanks,
Larry

I have a 1986 Grand Wagoneer with a transfer case that got ruined
