Ceramic Brake Pads by Lifetime Warranty
Looking to redo my 4 wheel disc brakes on my 2002 Caravan. I'd love to upgrade to ceramic pads on a 4 corners, to reduce the amount of brake dust on the wheels. I've found the parts number for the Mopar front replacement but unable to find a number for the rears. Any guru out there know if...

Spray paint recommendations by Old Car
I want to touch up some of the areas where paint has flaked off my Intrepid. I have done this in the past, but the spray paint doesn't hold up very well. I used plasti-kote "Car Color". Do any of you have any recommendations for spray paint that will last? I prefer using spray cans for this job.

89 lebaron w\2.2Lturbo eng. has no compression in cylinder #3. The car was running just fine one minute and then it died instantly while cruising down the fwy at about 60mph. Since this happened the car has refused to show even a glipse that it will start back up. I always thought that a...

Interm. cruise control by [email protected]
Have a 94 Intrepid 3.3L Cruise works at first but stops engaging after a few engagements or maybe 10 - 15 min of being engaged & once it stops working doesn't work again all day. Doesn't drop off when engaged, just won't reengage. Works again next day same pattern. Light comes on momentarily when...

PT Cruiser Brake Experience by Richard
About 14 months ago the mounting tabs rusted off one of the rear disk pads. A local shop changed them for me (it was winter). Yesterday one of the rear brakes started to make noise. Today I pulled the pins and the metal bushings and found that the shop had failed to either clean or lube those...

Cambelt problems on PT Cruiser by Slartibartfast
First of all, I confess that I know nothing about mechanical matters - I always leave it up to the garage to do the servicing. I can top up the screenwash and that's about it! Anyway, when I took my PT Cruiser for the 60,000 mile service I was told I'd need a new cambelt. They didn't have all...

Hello Richard, Thank you for your interest in Akebono ProACT pads for your 2001 PT Cruiser, unfortunately we do not currently offer the rear pads for you vehicle, the PT Cruiser is a popular vehicle and normally we would have both front and rear disc pads available in our product line, but many of...

94 Concorde intermittent starting by Dave A.
My 1994 Concorde 3.3L with 145,000 miles still runs well and looks good but has developed a new problem. Occasionally, when I turn the key, it acts like a dead battery, like their isn't enough power to turn the starter but I do hear what sounds like the solenoid engaging. If I turn it off and try...

I have the Chrysler version of ralley wheels on my '77 New Yorker. I let my buddy use the car last week and one of the hub caps is missing. Now these hub caps are really just hub caps. They are about 5" in diameter and I think they bolt on from the back side of the wheel. Anybody know where I...

Hi Everyone, Last night I changed the trans oil and filter. I cleaned the pan and the magnet and put 4 quarts of ATF +4. Everything went well until this morning when I tried to drive the car! When I put the car in gear and try to go backwards or forward the car does not move until the RPM hits...

94 Sundance shutter by AY Metz
Got a 94 Sundance (80,000 miles) that has developed a shutter only when you turn left; can definitely feel it on the steering wheel. There is no clicking noise so I have ruled out CV joints; they seem to be tight. Anyone have any ideas on what's causing this? Alex
