A few weeks ago I accidentally left the parking brake on for a 25 mile drive, highway in the middle with about five miles on each end that were side roads. On the last five to seven miles, the brakes went to the floor when I first pressed them, and that's the first time I knew there was a...

new engines with no name tossed in dumpster by [email protected]
A major oil company was moving premises, and I had gone to the old building. There was a lot of junk left behind. In a dumpster, there were four diesel engines. They had no alternators or exhaust manifolds, and were shrink wrapped. Somebody had already ripped open the wrapping on 2 of them. They...

It keeps falling out. I don't have a long enough needle nose pliers to get it out is there another handy household contraption I can use to get deep in the hole to grab the plug and remove it or do I need to hit the hardware store?

'86 Ford 2.9 litre hwy stumble by [email protected]
My 87 Ford Ranger has a continual issue with stumbling, bucking, power loss while driving at any speed, when its cold it doesn't seem to do it, although at startup there seems to be a rough and erratic idle most of the time and trying to accelerate doesn't work when its cold. After it warms up...

Location of Coolant Temp Sensor - 1995 F150 4.9L I6 by [email protected]
I also have a 95 f150 4.9. Its on the passenger side near the firewall right in between the intake manifold and exhaust manifold. You can get to it if you turn the wheels all the way to the left and get to it through the wheel well. I'm not a small guy and was just barely able to get to it. One...

The car is a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass with the 3.4L DOHC engine. The negative battery cable terminal will not get very tight when attached to the battery.
