Turning Signal "Clicking" Won't Go Off by Cyke
The clicking sound the steering column makes when the turn signals are on, will not stop in my truck. All of the signal lights appear to be in working order, the noise just stays on constantly. Any thoughts?

Oil pressure gauge install by Andrew Szafran
I want to install an oil pressure gauge and voltmeter in my 1988 Volvo 240DL wagon. There are 2 blanks to the right of the cluster with 52mm holes under them (I wish every car dashboard was as well-designed for upgradability as this!). I'm probably going to go with VDO gauges from eGauges.com. ...

Windshield wiper linkage - 1994 B4000 by [email protected]
I just replaced the wiper motor on 94 B400, and I can't get the linkage for both wipers on the shaft of the motor. I can get the left or the right all the way on, but when I try to put the second one on, I can't get it on far enough to clear the groove on the end of the shaft. I'm probably doing...

Need help with opinions on scan tools by boxcar
Whats the better way to go.? Handheld scan tools like Actron CP9145, or laptop pc like EASE or AutoTap.? Seems like the PC types have so many extra charges, but the handhelds have it all contained.? Help me out with some advice. I'm a home DIY'er and not a pro making a living at repairs.

Didn't expect to spin a bearing... by frank wight
Hiya, I started up my 4 cylinder 151 c.i. pontiac Iron Duke engine after letting the car sit for a year. It has 71,000 miles on it. My procedure was to install a freshly charged battery and just let the engine keep cranking to lubricate it. The engine cranked for over a minute before it...

2006 Honda Civic mini-review by Andrew Szafran
I looked at a new Civic yesterday, more out of curiosity then anything else since my 88 Volvo is still running nicely at 195k miles. Engine compartment(!): Cramped, cramped, cramped. In its quest for an additional 0.25 mpg, Honda has seen fit to move the front edge of the windshield over most of...

Isuzu rodeo rear rotor replacement by [email protected]
This is in response to a couple of old posts from 1997 and 2004. Releasing the hand brake will allow the drum to come loose. There is a hole in the drum. You can screw in a long 6mm bolt through this hole to push the drum out.

What is the protocol to obtain misfire data on cylinders for a '99 Cad Deville? by Rich
Does anyone know how to query the PCM computer to give a count of misfires on each cylinder? My OBDII system is just an interface to my laptop and apparently the GM recommended scantool is capable of showing counts of misfires on each cylinder. That would be very useful. This is on a 1999 Cad...
