Timing Belt by Gary
I have about 78K on a '90 and have never done the timing belt. Shame on me, but the car runs great. Can I get another 10K and delay doing it or am I flirting with disaster? If I gamble by waiting a while longer am I going to ruin the engine if it finally goes on me? Also, has anyone ever gotten...

Rollercoaster Road - Missouri by D. Rogers
I posted this at miata.net but thought you guys might be interested too. Somebody on here asked if there were any drives that weren't all twisty roads. Here's one with ups and downs instead :-) "I found a neat little road that goes up and down instead of side to side. The g-forces and negative...

Tming belt replacement on 99 626 4cyl by Jason
Sorry if this is out of place, I could not find another Mazda group. I need to change the timing belt on my 99 626 4 cyl (80,000 miles). I am pretty decent at working on cars, I can do brake work (disks and drums) I always change my own oil, I have attempted a timing belt replacement on an 84...

Replacing the air bag module by Daniel Nguyen
Actually air bag removal is not that difficult if you take precautions. I just replaced my aging steering wheel that had come loose at the top from the frame inside with a used leather one and the whole swap took a total of 30 minutes to do. The information in miata.net garage section is...

626 with NO heat, any ideas? by mellow guy
1992- 626 No heat inside and winters coming...... When setting the dial all the way into the red (max heat) it's producing just enough heat that I can tell it's "trying" and not just pushing air from outside. Also the fan isn't working right. It works fine when set to 1 or 2, but if i set it to...

another JR CAI bites the dust by pws
A friend of mine had the notorious black box on their Jackson Racing Cold Air Induction self-destruct. I don't have all of the details yet, just that the pieces took out the MAF sensor as well. Since this miata owner does not have the original intake plumbing, the repair cost is getting up there....
