WTB: C4 transmission for 200cu.in. straight 6 by
Andrew
Hi everyone,
Really hoping someone can help me locate a good, working C-4
transmission for my '65 coupe with a 200cu.in. straight 6.
Good working condition means it was removed from a car in good working
order, not necessarily rebuilt but for a good price will consider all.
Please email me...

Worst case with bad TO bearing by
Mark G7#9
Hi,
Looks like my clutch has a bad throw-out bearing. It's very noisy but
the car drives ok for now. Do I have much time before something major
happens? (I don't have the cash now to fix the clutch). Is it safe to
drive at all?
Thanks
Mark

Projector Headlights by
Deputy Dog[_2_]
The Current headlights just isn't cutting it anymore so I'm going to replace
them. I currently have smoked aftermarket jobs and they are clouding up<
oxidizing> pretty bad despite using plastic polish frequently. So I figure
to go a different way. I need something really bright seeing as I love...

Noisy clutch on 2K GT by
Mark G7#9
Hi,
My GT has 110K on it with original tranny. Recently, when I press the
clutch pedal all the way down, a screetchy high pitch sound is heard
and goes away when the gears are engaged again.
Aside from the noise, the car drives as well as before. Anything I
should check ???
Thanks
Mark,

1988 Mustang - Horn won't stop beeping :) by
Marc[_3_]
Hey,
Just wondering if I could get some ideas.
I have a convertible 88 Mustang GT. The horn will not stop when the
key is turned to the on position or car is started.
I had to pull the center of the steering wheel off and unplug the wire
to get it to stop...any ideas on what to check/change?

The joy of car repair? by
Dick R.
I certainly don't disparage anyone who does their own car repair,
but there are times when it just isn't feasible.
My son called me this morning and said he was going to replace an
alternator. He had the alternator, but asked If I could give him
a ride if he needed more parts. No problem for me,...

Heavily modified '89 LX idling badly, stumbling on cruise control by
Thomas Cameron
All -
It's been a while since I posted to this group, my ISP dumped Usenet
and I have avoided using Google Groups like the plague. But here I
am.
I have a 5.0 '89 LX. I've basically replaced the entire drive train.
I installed a Ford Racing 5.0 crate motor (M-6007-XEFM) with a M-6250-

HP ratings by
Dick R.
I'm always amazed at horsepower ratings of new cars;
V6s with 200-300 HP, imports with 300-400 HP, and Mustangs
with 500+ HP. How much torque in these cars? I had a 63 Chev
409 that could burn rubber from a standing start in 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd gears, but it did bog down in 4th. It was a...

70 mustang question? by

I'm currently restoring a 70 Mach 1 mustang. I"m thinking about
dropping the rear body 1" by raising the axle 1". I've got 320 coils
in the front and lowered the upper a arms 1" I'm running 255-60 in the
rear. It appears I should have enough clearance, I'm worried about
tire rub in the rear. I've...

The one(s) that got away - what could you have bought that you didn't? by
Ashton Crusher[_2_]
In 1970 One of my college roommates had a Shelby 500 GT (probably a
68?) he was behind in the payments and it was going to be repoed. I
should have bought it but wasn't impressed at the time. He wound up
in a 58 Galaxy.
In early 80's my Grandmother had a 64 Plymouth convertible I could
