Transported car turned out to be worth it by
dwight[_1_]
I wrote about my concerns in having a '99 Ford Escort trailered down from
New York to Philly, and the accompanying quote of $585.00. I wrote about the
fact that the car had sat idle for a year, and that the only two things I
knew for certain were that the battery was dead and there was a bees'...

Airbag Light Flashes by
Andrea Parker
Hi All,
I have a flashing airbag light. A few weeks ago it was flashing a code
of 4, it did that for a few days and then stopped on its own. Now it is
flashing a code of 10 and has been doing so for several days. Is that of
any serious concern and has anybody had any experience with it?...

Vortec :-). That was my baby for so many years until grandma crushed it and
it was totalled. It has about 95k original miles on it and boy did...

water/methanol injection by
Ben Stiller
Is this worth doing ? to a street 1993 5.0 supercharged Keene Bell with #8
and pings about #5 and above when hot(80 and above) outside, and when
engine gets heat soaked it pings above #1, takes a few hours at 95 or more.
(no bypass on compressor)
seems like an easy fix. Use a stage 2 very,...

89 LX vert seat belt ? by
Howard Nelson
The plastic sheaths that support the buckle (short) side of my seat belts
(1989 LX 5.0 convertible) are cracking and breaking apart. This allows the
buckle side to fall down between the seat and tunnel thus hard to access. I
went to my local ford dealer today to see about a replacement. I was...

1988 Mustang - Horn won't stop beeping :) by
Marc[_3_]
Hey,
Just wondering if I could get some ideas.
I have a convertible 88 Mustang GT. The horn will not stop when the
key is turned to the on position or car is started.
I had to pull the center of the steering wheel off and unplug the wire
to get it to stop...any ideas on what to check/change?

'03 power window problem by
Rick Olive
Driver's side door window in '03 Cobra vert stopped working (down
position, of course). Checked fuses and relays, all OK. Pulled the trim
off and peeled back the weatherproofing to see if something had come
loose, but the mechanism is all intact, everything is in it's rails with
no sign of any...

Steph
Hi All,
The floor carpet is pretty worn in my 85 Stang. Anybody got any good places
I can purchase a brand new one ready to go into my car? Of course when it
comes to carpet, no doubt that I would like to get a good deal on it.
I would prefer a store here in Canada but would like to know about...

67 rear backspacing for largest tire by
Will
I have heard that 255/60/15s can fit on the back of a 67 coupe, but my
4 1/4" backspace cragers leave the tire sticking out past the fender.
Does anyone know if I can have more backspacing, if so, what is the
most I can have. Also, what would allow me to fit this tire?
