94JeepMan
I have one working hand held central locking transmitter.
The other one doesn't work, it flashes but doesn't unlock the doors
anymore.
I have also tried the hack way of pushing the drivers' door lock
forwards two notches, ignition on, holding down both keys on remote,
doesn't work in this remote,...

Horn replacing by
94JeepMan
Anyone replaced the horn(s) on a 94 Cherokee, mine sort of intermittent
warble when you use them, except in very hot weather when they are ok.
Also, thinking of splicing into loom, using blue thingies cable splices
to add after market £5 horn instead, anyone done this, know where you
splice etc

Help Water Leak? by
95 YJ
I just puchased my first jeep. It's a 95 YJ and it has a bad water leak
coming from the cowl area somewhere. I have replaced my cowl seal, and the
cowl vent doesn't seem to be the problem. Any suggestions?

Help, A/C blower motor won't turn off by
96JeepOwner
replying to Lon Stowell, 96JeepOwner wrote:
I know this makes no sense, but it is the blower resistor. Yes, I know it
doesn't compute that a bad resister would deliver power to the blower with the
key off and out of the ignition. My 96 Grand had the same issue and I figured
it must be the relay...

Power Steering Leak by
97tjMike
I have a occasional leak from where my steering box meets the pitman
arm. It seems only to leak sometimes, but other times it won't (maybe
the degree the steering wheel is at the time..? who knows). I'm
probably due for a new seal for where the pitman arm attaches to the
box,...

Just curious if anything was changed on the 08 Wrangler. I know like
with the TJs they changed around little things from year to year. Just
wondering what was changed from the 07.

leaking coolant by
97tjMike
I replaced the evaporator core on a 2001 XJ this past weekend. The
heater hoses were old and they had to be cut off, so we did that and
replaced them with new ones. Everything went smoothly, and we
reassembled everything and started the car. Coolant started leaking
everywhere! Not at first, but...

Popping noise when turning by
97tjMike
Hello everyone:
I replaced my right front hub assembly yesterday, and everything was
ok right after, but now I am noticing a popping noise (multiple times,
like pop pop pop pop) when turning or swerving at low speeds. Could
this be a bad U-Joint? I also have another problem where the...

TJ Transmission Leak by
97tjMike
Hello Everyone:
About 3 weeks ago, I took my Jeep in and had the tranny replaced. Two
weeks ago, I noticed some fluid around the pan bolts towards the rear
and I took it back in so they could fix the leak. After I picked the
Jeep up from the shop the 2nd time, I looked under it and still...

Transmission problems...new torque converter? by
97tjMike
For those of you that remember I was the one that got mud in my
transmission a few weeks ago. It was cleaned out and flushed several
times, and the band (the one on the outside of the transmission) has
been adjusted. It drives perfectly unless I drive it hard. If I drive
the vehicle hard, I get a...

rough idle 97 TJ by
97tjMike
Ok so this morning i was tracking down an overheating problem with my
jeep in idle. Turns out the problem was a clogged radiator. Anyways so
I ran the jeep about 30 minutes in idle to assure myself that it
wasn't overheating any more. At that point it was running fine. About
1/2 hour later, I...

Lift Kit Reccomendations? by
97tjMike
Hello, I have been thinking about lifting my TJ. I don't want to spend
a lot of money, so what do you guys think of this kit?
http://www.rocky-road.com/jeepbudget.html
Also, should I get the 3" combo body/susp. lift, or will that give me
terrible handling?
Thanks

Powder coated Hinges by

Hello I have a 97 TJ and have rust on the hinges. I have tried
repainting them but the salty roads just make the rust come back. I
want to replace them with something powder coated to resist the rust.
I want something black, as the jeep is white so chrome looks tacky.
The only ones I can find for...

regulator, and everything was fine again. Everything was perfect until
a month and a half later,...

I'm having a difficult time removing my shocks. I'm trying to install
