kit
1998 Voyager, 3.0L engine, 4speed auto, 83,000 miles, regularly
serviced: Experienced very mysterious set of circumstances this past
Sunday, 2/19/06 (the coldest day yet this winter in Philadelphia, about
25 deg F). I drove about 14 miles, hiway speeds, before I noticed that
the temperature gauge...

HID lights by
NJ Vike
What's involved with changing over to them? I noticed a 300M Special in the
junk yard and was wondering how complicated it might be to install them in
my 300M.
What should it cost for the parts?
Thanks
Ken

Clock in 300M not working by
MauriceV
Hi
For some reason the clock in my 1999 300M stopped working. I checked
all the fuses, but there doesn't seem to be one for the clock. Does
anybody know how I could remove the part of the dash that contains the
clock so I might check for a loose wire?
Any help would be appreciated.

Your fondest Chrysler memory? by
Jeff Gagnon
Mine is my first car. A very used 1960 Valiant. Four door. "Midnight
Blue". Fake "Continental spare" hump on the trunk (which always
collected water and rusted).
Bench seat with 3-Speed on the floor! (99% of them had the push-button
automatic). Factory shift-knob about 7/8" diameter... felt like...

Seat covers: economical and good fit? by
[email protected]
HAve a 2003 Dodge RAM quad cab. Been thru several sets of the generic
seat covers from the auto parts store. They just dont last because a)
they dont quite fit well on the wide ram seats and b) they just arents
made well.

Replacing lifters in 265 hemi - as easy as it seems? by
A-Man
Hi again all,
I'm keen on replacing the well worn hyd lifters in a 265 hemi 6. I have
a moderate level of mechanical knowledge/ability and just want to make
sure I don't get caught out (screw up) with this task.
Do I need any special tools? The engine has removable side plates so my
guess is...

Chrysler-noisy front end by
hotshot
I own a Chrysler Town and Country minivan with 41,000 miles. It is making
a rattling/thumping noise in the front end (It feels like it is under my
feet) when I hit even the smallest of bumps and especially when I turn
corners. I feel that it is a result of my hitting two large holes on
separate...

Help ID unknown new car with huge chrome "X" grill by
Danny
A few days ago I got a fleeting glimpse of what looked to be a brand
new car with the largest chrome grill I have seen on a vehicle since
the old Rolls Royces. The grill had to be at least two feet tall and
had vertical chrome with a huge X(each leg of the X was about 3 inches
across) placed on...

MAP Sensor by
CMM
As I posted previously, the headgasket in my '96 Voyager (2.4L)
recently blew. When it did, the Check Engine Light came on. The fault
codes are 13 & 14, indicated a MAP Sensor or related problem.
My question is, when the head gasket failed, did it ruin the MAP
Sensor (requiring replacement) or...

300M clunking is fixed by
Art
I haven't picked up my car yet but the Dodge dealer who accepted the
challenge called me up and was all excited and declared the car fixed.
Apparently, with the very warm weather today (70 degrees here in NC) the car
did it consistently. 3 technicians (one in the car turning the wheel)
worked it...

space for new brake pads? by
mm
I have to replace my front brake pads, on a '95 LeBaron.
A few years ago, I helped a teenage friend replace his on an '88
LeBaron, and when we were done the new thick brake pads caused his
front calipers to open so wide that they hit the wheel when the wheel
was bolted on. It was late Sunday,...

Radiator Average Life (Preventive Maint. Question) by
NewMan
I have a 94 GC with the 3.3 engine. I had the head gasket done when I
purchased the van due to a coolant leak. Since that day it has not
lost so much as 1 drop of coolant, and it runs great.
I am a firm believer in preventive maintenance, and this is why I am
here now. I looks like this summer I...
