79 VW turn signal light assembly question by BugFan
Hi, just bought a partially-restored 79 Super Beetle from a guy who started it and lost interest. Front turn signal lights don't work properly. I don't know if the previous owner didn't wire it right or the person who painted it. Anyway, there are three wires coming up through the fender, a...

nasty canvas surprise by Art McGinn
we popped the top on our '81 westy for a lake trip the other day and got a nasty surprise. the canvas on one side was streaked with grime and some mold spots. it appears a clamp on our outside awning has been gouging a small hole in the side of the fiberglass pop-top, breaking the rubber seal...

clatter, unearthly by Art McGinn
folks: this "problem" keeps coming up and i've yet to discover what causes it. it's an unearthly clatter from the engine of our '81 vanagon after it has been parked for a few days. after the engine runs for a little while, the clatter fades away, as if it never happened. there seems to be no...

what sounds better a 63 or 66 by george taylor
Today I looked at a 63 bus and was told that it was a Sundial. I have looked for a picture to see if it real is one. This one is a non walk thru, has the wqordrob cabinet on the pass side, a cabinet above the motor area, one under the rear bench and a small one right behind the spare tire/cab...

OT Needing some help with my Chev truck by [email protected]
Got an odd problem and it's got me stumped. 86 Chev 1 ton pickup. 454 auto. The choke light came on and stayed on. Same for the fast idle circuit. Choke stays about 3/4 closed. Needless to say gas milage shot to hell and it was terrible before this.

ATT: John by P.J.Berg[_3_]
Are you still looking for Kadron parts? I remembered this place after a while.. : http://lowbugget.com/main_page.html There has been some negative feedback on him(Turbo kits and head-work taking to long), but I'm sure he is ok for parts.. J.
