VANOS Question by Jeff Strickland
I have the M50 motor with VANOS. What does VANOS do, and what hazppens if it isn't doing it right? My engine used to have a kick similar to the feeling when the secondaries open in a 4bbl carb. Service at BMW or Elsewhere? by AlanG
A friend, who works at an independent garage, does all the servicing of my 1998 528 but should I take the car to a BMW dealer for servicing all the time or some of the time, on the basis that they will have all the diagnostic equipment and may identify faults that my friend cannot identify? Thanks.

E39 AC problem by Morten Fossum

One has a tape deck and the GPS screen is on the far right side. The other is centered and I don't see a spot for a tape. What are the main differences in both...

What's with E36 M3 asking prices? by 303squadron
What is it with the crazy prices some E36 M3 owners/dealers are trying to get? This summer I toyed with getting one, but was turned off by the attitudes of some of the owners I tried to deal wth. These guys (mostly private parties) were trying to get upwards of $25,000 (some, a lot upwards) for a...
