Wiper spindle by Chris
The embarrassment actually come from: a) only got one wiper on at the moment; b) funny rattling noise due to a cow boy who don a bogus job on the water pump; c) let's face it, my '88 Audi is 16 years very old, and I'm being a bit of a pikey not to change car, in fact I just cannot afford...

A4 Question by TonyJ
A4 control arm squeaks are common. After working with five or more I would be willing to bet that the problem is not at the frame end of the arms it is due to dried out ball joints. You can fix by using a grease needle adapter to inject white lithium into the rubber boots. It will take 3 or 4 days...

Importing from Europe to UK by Graham
Hi, I'm interested in the new 2 litre TDI A3 with DSG but getting a used one is proving nigh on impossible (hardly surprising I suppose considering how new they are). So I was thinking of buying a new one but the prices in the UK are still a bit on the high side for me. Is importing one still...

Audi A4 TV module - view whilst driving? by Russell Fray
Hi, I'm likely going to buy a new A4 1.9TDi for 1st Sep delivery, with the 'navigation plus' and tv option. (UK Model). The brochure says that for "safety reasons" the TV will not work whilst the car is in motion, which is a bit of a pain because the only reason I would get the TV option is to...

Thinking it needed oil, I went back home but the level was fine and went out again. It...
