It's not like the cops make up the charges. The speeders and DUIs and red light runners are everywhere doing their killing and maiming of innocent people. As it is, the cops don't even catch 1% of these deadly psychopaths. So i'm all for ticket quotas and i want them raised. Only a criminal...

Finally paid $3 a gallon for gas for first time in life by Speeders & Drunk Drivers are MURDERERS[_1_]
I've avoided it so far but had to pay $3.19 today. Just amazing how gas keeps rising while oil is sinking. Oil has gone from $79/barrel last summer to $62 now. But remember - There are no conspiracies in america.

When will speed limit be lowered to 55? by [email protected]
I am praying for the day when this country will lower the speed limit back to 55 MPH. Gas prices have increased enormously yet I still see people in their gas guzzlers driving 75 mph. I dont think people realize how much more economical , safer and less stressful it is to drive at 55 MPH. And...

Stop the old oil change arguments...here's the scoop by twotone
I am the world's top authority on oil changes. Call me Mr. Motor Oil. Here's the bottom line on oil changes: The 3,000 mile interval is a myth that the oil companies and oil change places have perpetuated. It certainly wouldn't HURT to change your oil every 100 miles, but even the most...

How Much Road Capacity is Wasted Due to Poor Driving? by Scott en Aztlán
Anyone want to take a guess as to how much of our existing road capacity is wasted by LLBs, poor mergers, Sloths, rubberneckers, people who don't speed up when the traffic ahead of them does, etc. etc.? I'd say the waste is at least 40%, i.e. that our roads never achieve more than 60% of their...
