Accord Car Cover Info by
mrb74
Hi,
I'm an owner of a new 2005 Accord 4 door LX. Much to my dismay, I
don't have a garage to put it in. So I want to do the next best thing.
I've been researching covers and am leaning toward buying the one
supplied by Honda. What I'm looking for is more information on this
cover as opposed to...

Civic idle variation by
Elle Navorski
Try thoroughly purging the cooling system of air. For this, follow the
manual's instructions to the letter. As part of this procedure, note that
it may take 40 minutes or more for the cooling fan to come on two times, so
have a magazine.
Something called the EACV (if I recall correctly) has a...

2000 Civic LX engine light by
Drogotti
Whats up people,
Last night I was driving in North Florida with about a quarter of a tank
of gas and my engine light came on. There doesn't seem to be anything
wrong with the performance of the car, since the light has come on. I
read another link about a 2000 DX having cold climate problems,...

2005 Accord ... Should I? by
DaveR
My lease is nearly up on my 2002 Accord. I've been leasing accords for
8 years now. But this last one had some issues ... it needed a new
transmission (and even the new one is showing some early symptoms of
trouble). The brakes also wore down at about 25K, earlier than any
other Accord I have owned...

CRV ? 1/2 on topic 1/2 off topic by
JC
We bought a 2000 CRV for our daughter and we all love the car. She
doesn't turn 16 until the end of the month and I have been driving the
car more than my truck. We had a significant ice storm and a couple of
snow storms and the CRV has performed fantastically in ALL of the bad
weather we have put...

1997 Honda Civic DX Starting Problems by
Bubbabee
My 1997 Honda Civic DX started for two or three seconds then died. The
engine turns over fine but will not start or even fire. When I disconnect
the fuel line at the manifold to check for pressure and flow, the engine
starts. It runs until the fuel in the injection manifold is gone. When
the fuel...

Radiator cracked & replaced - what next? by
DesignGuy
I have a 1995 Honda Civic that recently started overheating. It would slowly
use coolant and I would continue to top it off. Also bought a bottle of
Barr's Leak Stop, and that seemed to stop the slow leakage.
Until yesterday. Everything was fine, until I looked down and saw the temp.
guage pegged...

'88 accord throttle position sensor insanity!!! by
[email protected]
My Accord Lxi '88 has a problem. It began as a combo initial big engine
start-up rev-v-v-v, then drop down to a regular idle/ rev cycle.
Although annoying, in gear the car operated fine, but at stops reverted
to the idle/rev cycle. Was getting less ruly and prone to rev-v-v-v.
I got an electronic...

Odyssey AWD by
David of Ashland
I don't understand with the new redesigned Odyssey why AWD isn't
included? Is there someplace we can email Honda to add a Odyssey with
AWD? I live in Northern Wisconsin and we'd like to replace our Astro
AWD with a Odyssey but that isn't likely unless they offer AWD. I guess
we could buy a Sienna...

2k 'Lude Stereo by
ac
Hi,
My 2K 'Lude's stereo is sounding not too good these days. If I
change the stock speakers and add an amp, would I get good sound?
How's the quality of the stock radio? Does it have line out?
Thanks

Excessive Play in Shifter by

I have a '91 Civic with the 4-speed that seems to have excessive
side-to-side play in it. This can't be a sign of anything good, but what IS
the problem?
Thanks!

[90 Accord] Master or Wheel cylinders going? by
[email protected]
Hi there,
1990 Accord EX, 189k, well maintained. Recently the brake pedal
will fade (close) to the floor: about 1/3-1/2" of play left once it's
down there. PA winter, was about 45F today when it happened(so not
abnormally hot). Only happens on slow braking. If, after I have
stopped, I hold me...

CRV Vs. Tucson? by
Tom
I am considering both the 2005 CRV lx 4WD and the 2005 Hyundai Tucson 4WD
V6. For 900.00 dollars less than the CRV the Hyundai has a V6, heater
wipers, mirrors, fog lights and a roof rack. Does anyone have experience
with Hyundai in terms of reliability, quality or owner satisfaction? I have
had an...

Civic Battery Dead by
Pat
A dead '95 Civic battery gave unusual results. Jumpering the battery allowed
it to idle the engine, but the moment I attempted to move it forward or in
reverse, the engine would stop. Its as though the battery was too weak to
muster enough energy to propel the car, but it could idle the car. Does...

every 3-4k. Would it be overly attentive if I had the timing belt
changed now?
