Hi The service light is constantly lit up on my friends 89. It gives code 36 & he tells me that his car runs fine but with a power loss. Sometimes on mine, I loose my acceleration completely for about 6-8 seconds and then the service light comes on for about 8 seconds and leaves code 36....
