Interior light/door switch ? by Vern
Hello Folks, I have a 92 C4 LT1 coupe. After my wife took it on a trip, the interior lights won't come on when the doors are opened, This also affects the radio as it stays on and the antenna stays up probably until the 15 minute timeout as it thinks the doors are still closed. It also disables...

Clicking noise near right headlamp door by Vern
Hi, I have a 92 LT1 coupe. When I turn the headlights off or go from parking lights to off, the doors close OK but afterwards there is a clicking noise for about 5 secs. I haven't looked at it real close yet.

Have to use 93 Octane ? by Vern
Folks, I have aa 92 C4 LT1.....the manual and gas filler area both say to use premium. Anybody have any experience using lower octane safely ? I mean it $6 a tank more to use premium, which is worth it ti prevent an early engine rebuild. I have about 124K on mine. Thanks, Vern

1SourceAutoWarranty Going Out of Business??? by Vandervecken
This is getting too complex. These things are not warranties. They're insurance policies. You pay a one-time premium when you buy it. The premium covers the car's statistically-likely repair cost over the policy period, administration costs, and a substantial profit margin. The issuer knows that,...

Tire input sought by Vandervecken
Friend of mine is shopping for tires for an '01 roadster. His only gripe about the car is tire noise. I've ridden in it and whatever he has on the thing - he says OEM - are real howlers. He's torn about staying with runflats. He and I both would appreciate anyone who'd care to share...

4200 miles in six days in a C6 - fuel use notes for Dad by Vandervecken
To start off, the C6 turned out to be a very fine long-range cruiser. The car is comfortable, well-mannered, and not particularly tiring even on a 900 mile day. A long 75 mph cruise through moderate rain did not bring a single drop of water through the convertible top. Wow! The F55 suspension was...

C6 CAGS defeat advice sought by Vandervecken
Anyone in a position to offer advice / experiences on installing a CAGS (skip-shift) defeater on a 6-speed C6? Lots on the market, but which ones are decently made and work right? If I decide to just disconnect the solenoid and substitute a dummy load, anyone know the resistive load of the thing?...

Attn: Dad by utahbuck
"Dad", Several months ago I surfed and found a Corvette forum where someone had posted a lengthy list of not well known facts about Corvettes like seat memory # 3, the place in a Coupe's rear deck to store the lug nut key, etc. I didn't bookmark the forum and haven't been able to find it...
