'Stocking stuffer' for Christmas by
pj
It's winter and my 'senior brain' is allowing keyless-entry fobs to be
left in garment pockets rather than being hung on the hook in the
kitchen. Now it's, "which coat did I have on when...." Or worse, "Dear
may I borrow your keys."
Someone might come up with a fob accessory. An inexpensive...

C5 Replacement Tires by
aRKay[_4_]
Goodyear Eagles need to be replaced and Discount Tire suggested
the Michelin Pilot A/S run flats for my C5. Anybody tried them?
The Goodyear Eagles are really noisy.

Ticket for too fast for conditions by
kevin logan
A car stopped in front of me on I96 i swerved to avoid it, lost
control and wrecked my car on the shoulder. Michigan St. Police show
up and write me a ticket for driving too fast for conditions.
Conditions were clear and dry daytime and I was doing about 65 in a

Back window install by
Stephen Sadler
Hey guys and gals,
I have a 1976 corvette with T-tops I'm restoring. How is the back window
held in? Is it just held in by the seal and the plastic rear window
molding? Am I missing something??

C4 rear hatch weatherstrip by
CardsFan
OK, one of my Christmas wishes was granted and I got new weatherstrip for
the hatch. Any suggestions on the install? Seems to be fairly
straightforward from what I've been able to find online, but it never hurts
to hear from someone who's actually done it.

C5 headlights - by
FBNE[_2_]
Merry Christmas all. Either I am getting older or the headlights on my
C5 seem to be too dim for me. It is especially troublesome on the
low-beam side. It looks like the beam is "hitting" the road about 20
feet in front of the drivers side and only slightly better on the pax
side. I have...

What would you do? by
Charles Kormos
Car is 1996 Corvette with LT1 engine. Codes are P0131, P0134, and
P1133.
I plan on changing the O2 sensor but which one?
I think I know which one, but just to be sure that's all I'm saying.
Let's see if I'm right or wrong.
Which one would you change?
Do I really need the special tool?
Thanks in...

Bagging car for storage by
brian
Hey all, I have a C6 that I store for the summer while away. I have
been just leaving it with a car cover in a carport (in San Diego) with
a battery tender and things have gone fairly well except for a little
mouse activity. But this has been a very good year for the little
beasts and their larger...

Winter by
CardsFan
Don't know about the rest of you, but it's been a fairly ugly winter here
(if Floridian Ric Seyler is still lurking, I don't want to hear it). I have
the car on battery tender, but it's still good to exercise it a bit once in
a while, if only to keep seals from drying up.
Anyway, we are in...

Laser Detection by
Spud
So Friday I drove the '08 Z06 Vette to Napa to meet up with the wife who’s
there on work. I had just purchased a new Garmin 1490 gps and a Whistler
radar/laser detector at Costco.
I was in a hurry, so I brought the new gps, but left the new radar detector
at home, as my old trusty old...

New fluid leak by
FBNE[_2_]
I have a 2001 with 68K. It has suddenly started to drip fluid near the
differential, dead center on the floor. The fluid looks and feels much
like power steering fluid, no color at all, but oily to the touch. The
PS level was low, but I can't imagine that system is routed near the
back of the...

Flexible steering coupler in a '76 by
BSAKing
The steering on old Betsy was getting mighty sloppy, so I checked and
the flexible steering coupler is shot. I see I can snag one complete
assembly easily from corvette central or even a rebuild kit to re-use
my hardware and just put in a new flex part. $84 vs $13.
My question is - are there any...
