3.8 v6 question by Chevrolet
well my mustang won't run worth a crap cold and I have to let it run for about 2 min before I can rev the engine or it bogs.. I looked at the coil and the ballast resistor wire is coroded to hell... could this be causing my proble ?.. It is a 1994 3.8 Thanx for any help

WEll well.. I buy a OBDII scanner and I getr these codes 708 720 743 750 755 SO I go on to read the book and LMFAO all automatic codes.. So the guy I bought the car from swapped the computer out of something else

1994 mustang v6 issues by Chevrolet
I have a 1994 Mustang v6 3.**** 8 180k and on start up it idles like it has a miss, rev it and it misses pretty bad.. runs better when warm but mainly runs bad when cold...no check engine light.. no knocks and I had the coolant system checked for leaks.. the plunger type head gasket checker...

With the new model, will people FINALLY stop referring to a V6 as an "LX" model ? by Chief_Wiggum
I wonder if 10 years and a major model update is enough for some folks to realize that there IS NO LX MODEL! and furthermore, even when there WAS an LX model, there were 5.0 LX's too, so referring to a 6 as an LX NEVER DID make any sense !!! /whew... done with the rant now ;) /
