Camaro In The Lead Again by
[email protected][_2_]
It looks like the Camaro will trump the Mustang is sales again this
year.
And it always makes me wonder if Camaro buyers ever cross-shop the
Mustang.

A Head-On Crash @ 120 MPH by
[email protected][_2_]
Great video! Watch this.
http://www.stangtv.com/news/video-a-ford-focus-crash-at-120-mph/
Makes you wonder what would be left at a Mustang's top velocity -- at/
or around 140-170 mph.

Build your own.
Interesting project, but an awful lot of work.
What do you think? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

The 302 engines - digging way back in my brain cells by
Dickr
I remember the first Camaro Z28 in 1969 was a 302, and that was the limit
for (I think) Trans Am racing. Many other 302s followed including the
new Boss
302 Mustang.
Then there's the 5.0 badge that's been on Mustangs for many years.
The question for today is:
Since 5 liters = 305 cu. in., is the...

Sign on for "Progessive Insurance's" Big-Brother ride-along by
RichA
Yes, all you have to do to get that mythical 30% redux in car
insurance costs is ride with a little Progressive data recorder in
your car. It will measure and report, all aspects of your driving.
P.S.,you won't get any major reduction. P.P.S., they WILL use the
data (and share it) if you deviate...

If I Didn't Have Bad Luck... by
[email protected][_2_]
How does the saying go? If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have
any luck at all?
Here's the story.
Just about a month ago, while driving my GT, I started hearing this
whack whack, whack, whack... I quickly stopped the car to take a
look. I didn't see anything, so I started again, slowly. ...

Still think Jap-mobiles are all that great? by
Rich
They've become so complex they are no longer ABLE to work reliably.
Reminds me of the Terminator.
CNN:
Japanese car manufacturer Honda has announced it is recalling 410,000
cars in the US because of complaints about their brakes.

Manual Transmissions Going The Way Of Carburetors? by
NoOp[_2_]
The demise of the manual transmission has been greatly exaggerated for
years now, and continues to be, even as carmakers like Porsche tack on
a seventh gear and Nissan sells its SynchroRev match system. At
Lamborghini, however, the manual transmission appears to be done, with
automated manuals,...

Stay AWAY from Regina, Saskatchewan! by

Roads with glass embedded in them? Like to shred tires over time?
Like to have to walk on it?? This is one of the stupidest ideas I've
seen in ages. Whatever happened to the 1970's idea of putting
shredded tires in roads to make them more resilient and less likely...

building a rotisserie by
Mark
I'm building a rotisserie and I was wondering if anyone knows the cener of
gravity of a '65 '66 shell. I'm not sure but I think I heard was the center
of the radiator opening in the front. What about the rear? I want to avoid
any costly and timely trial and error period. TIA
