Goodbye... by
Don Manning
To the Mustang that is. My 89 GT has been sold. For a measly $3200. Once
again, I have sold my current Mustang to my wife's little brother.
I don't drive it anymore, damn near everything on it is brand new. Figure
someone needs to get some use out of it. All he has is a motorcycle and
drives a...

Branden Nelsen
I am looking at trading in my car for a used 99-01 Mustang GT w/ Manual
Trans. I live in Iowa and would be having to drive this car year around
including in the snow. Does anyone here have experience with driving a
Mustang in the snow, is it difficult? Unfortunately the only cars I have

Shift kit... Hmmmm. by
dwight[_1_]
Interesting.
The first time it shifted from first to second, it threw me.
CFrog: '93 GT convertible, automatic. Just came out of a transmission
overhaul with an added TransGo shift kit. I heard that it would be like
speed-shifting a manual, but no - the shift is instantaneous. (My girls
won't...

Transmission is done by
[email protected]
I am in need of a new transmission (auto) since the transfer case on my
old one has been wearing down and has spit metal flakes all into my
tranny and completely wore it down beyond repair. I took it to my
local tranny shop and they had to take it apart to find out what was

Dump my GT due to bad 'vert top? by
[email protected]
I have 85K on my 2000 GT 'vert. Never had any major problems till this
year:
- The top leaks a lot of water beind the rear seat and into the trunk
- Top of driver door window hits the canvas top when closing (so I
need to leave it down half inch or so all the time).
I siliconed all the canvas...

2006 V6 idle problems by
Thomas Hart[_1_]
Here's a problem that's been nagging me ever since the car was new. Right
now it has about 2500 miles on it. It's a 2006 V6 manual transmission
Mustang that has a intermittent idle problem. 2 trips to the dealer have
proved fruitless so far - the damn thing never acts up when I get it
there....

DEARBORN, Mich., Dec. 15 - Ford Motor Company today made clear that
recent media speculation concerning an expanded Mustang line -

not true. Mustang is an icon and will continue in its current form: a

accord vs mustang by
[email protected]
my friend seems to think his 05 accord v6 (auto, no performance parts)
can beat my 99 v6 5 spd mustang. maybe it can, that's why I'm asking. I
don't have any performance parts on my car either, just 17" goodyear
eagle z-rated tires and a k&n. I'm thinking it would be a close match,
but I don't...

1990 Mustang GT a/c and turn signals not working correctly by
[email protected]
I have a 1990 Mustang GT and I recently took it in to have the heater
core replaced (worst labor ever, 9 hours) and when I got my car
back, all of a sudden the turn signals and the fan/air conditioning has
stopped working. At first I though, oh they just blew a fuse and
iddn't replace it so I got...

Alignment specs '94 GT by
Richard[_1_]
Does anyone have a recommended camber spec after installing the FRPP M5400-A
suspension system. None were included with the kit. While the FRPP C&C plate
kit offers some suggestions for various applications, I am still using the
stock camber plate so I'm uncertain as to whether to use these...

71-73 mustang engine swap, power &mpg?? what fits?? by
Newpinguy
Is there a website with a reference chart of what engines will fit into
a 71-73 mustang. Basicly, I'm looking for something that will fit
without making any mods and will give me power and 20mpg. Does it
exist??

Hello again from Pennsylvania by

Hey, some of you may remember me, some of you may not, just popped in
to say hi though. I was a "member" off and on for a few years starting
about 10 years ago. I still have the 'stang, a '95 Black/Tan GT. It's
got about 140,000 miles now, but it still runs strong. Still, the only
mod is a tri-ax...

door lock busted. actuator? by
Steve
Hey, all. Not sure what is going on here. One day I was unable to
unlock the drivers door of my '89 using the outside keylock. I came in
through the passenger side and used the drivers door release to open
the door.
However, now I can not lock the drivers door -- using the key from the
outside,...

Question: tire size by
goodnigh
My 1971 Grande has P235/60 R14 F&R.
Could I put a somewhat wider tire on the rear?
Needs rear tires anyway and I want more rubber
on the road. The rear end is limited slip 2.65
I have been told.
Thanks

2007 Mustang GT Question by
Mike
I recently traded in my 2005 GT for a 2007 GT Convertible.
The car at light acceleration (not hard throttle) exhibits a shake like "a
dog wagging it's tail". The dealer has confirmed the shake and are working
on correcting.
It doesn't display this under moderate acceleration and as the car has...
