floridatide
I have a 1993 318I Sedan. I am experiencing a problem in the electrical
system. The A/C compressor will cut off (blower motor doesn't), the ABS
warning light will come on, and the dash illumination lights will go off.
All of this occurs at the same time. They may all stay off for a few...

Jon Manley
Hi all
Currently own 2001 530i sport
previously owned 1998 323i SE
I've noticed that the air con, when on auto, blows nice cold air around the
cabin but seems to blow warm air into the drivers foot well. This happened
on my previous car also (323i). Obviously, if I press the button to blow...

Oil leak through head gasket - tightening head bolts... by
Ben Martin
I am going to tighten my head bolts as a possible easy fix for an oil leak
on a very high mileage 1990 325is.
It seems to be leaking between cyclinder 4 and 5. The leak is on the
exhaust side.
One tech recommended tightening the 4 head bolts just in the area of the
leak.
Another tech recommeded...

E46 M3 2 small lights in trhe dash board by
sgfan3
On my 2001 M3 (USA) there are 2 small red lights about 6 inches apart on the dash board in front of the instrument cluster. I have checked the owner's manual and it makes no mention of these lights. They are about the size if the windshield washer jets and the red leds (I think that's what they...

Radar Detector and Climate Control Windscreen by
John Perry
I have a Snooper 815 and the Climate control front windscreen in my
E46 320D.
I am finding that the radar detector is not very sensitive, and
certainly much less sensitive than a friends similar model.
Could the windscreen be affecting the sensitivity?

'83 BMW 320i-Over-heating with A/C on by
[email protected]
Hello-
I recently renovated completely a 1983 BMW 320i. Everything works
100%, except when I run the A/C, the temp needle goes up to the red.
When I turn off the A/C , down it goes to normal. There is no funny
sound with the A/C and it works perfectly when on. The radiator fan is
spinning, so I...
