Installing vent window rubber-how to by
Harry Balzac
Can someone direct me to a source on how to install the rubber around the
vent windows on a 69 Bug?
It looks like the window frame (the chrome part that moves) needs to be
removed and reinstalled with new rivets in order to get the rubber piece in
place. Yes or no?
Is there a source for...

[email protected]
I finally got all the loose ends tied down, and with new wheels on the
car and the engine finally idling properly, I reinstalled the driver's
seat and got in. The engine started fine, but when I pushed down on
the stick shift knob and tried to put it into second, the gears ground
as all manual...

Jim_Bon
Dear All,
I came across a thread which mentioned potential problems with
hazard warning/ indicator on the Passat TDi. I was having problems with
indicators- worked intermittenly. It appears that is more of a common problem
than I expceted. I removed the hazard warning switch...

Rancho performance e-mail by
[email protected]
Hi,
Anyone know if Sam or someone at Rancho has an e-mail address? I live
in South Africa and when I call the phone number from the web site, I
can never get hold of anybody there. I think I am about 8 hours ahead.
Can't call from home later!
Thanks,
Pete

Hi Jim.
I went backwards on an url you posted to a .gif for a coil booster

Take a look at this and tell me what you think:

TDI? by
illusion123a
I recently got a new job and am looking to purchase a new, or used car to
replace my 2002 Hyundai accent. I am looking for something good on gas (I
will be driving about 1 hour each way), and some with good crash test
ratings. I was thinking a Jetta TDI or some type of Subaru. I also want

'75 1800 cc. pancake with Syntehtic oil? by
Bill[_20_]
Hello,
Firstly, thanks for previous info offered on other subjects recently!
They have been most helpful.
I am wondering if putting full synthetic oil in the 1800cc aircooled
bus will cause any problems with the old type eengine seals. It runs
nicely now, and doesnt use oil, (dripping, or...

Exhaust for 1641 by
[email protected]
Hello Group!
As you may know, the original engine in my 1303 suffered from knocking
bearings so I have bought a decent AR-code 1300 to replace it with.
The original engine was an AR-code 1300 that a previous owner fitted
1641 barrels and pistons too, along with a progressive Weber, new
heads and a...

I Hate FLAPS by
Cletus[_2_]
Why is everybody out to sell, sell ,SELL? instead of helping a
longtime customer? I lost respect for the local vw parts house a few
years ago when they insisted I'd be better off with one piece windows
rather then re build my stock doors to combat leaks. Then I decided
ok, they were ok for valve...

Aftermarket stock intake manifold quality? by
bluebug
I need a new single port intake for my 66 bug. Would I be OK buying
the one that CIP1.com sells or should I keep looking for a clean
original? DOes anybody have any experience with the aftermarket part?
Thanks.
