Premium mark ups on ordered GTs??? by The Billy
I see that the local dealer currently has a 3K markup on the GTs. If one orders a GT, any idea if they would still add the markup?

What now? The guy at the shop said he couldn't find my 1983 windshield wiper switch, so he put a different on one there which for some reason requires an additional switch on the dash. Now I have no fuel, oil pressure, and temperature guages working... They tried to find out what was wrong with...

390 cam install by Mark
I went to install the new cam in the block I got back from the shop and it wont go in. They put in new cam bearings. I tried the old cam for giggles and it didn't fit properly either. Is this a common prob. with 390s? You'd think they could install them square if that's the case. Could they also...

Engine test stand? by Mark
Hi Folks, I was considering building my own engine test stand to break in cams, tune, valve adjustment, etc. before installing the engines in cars. It would be complete with a radiator, exhaust, an instrument panel and battery/starter. I go through a few engines a year and it seems like it would be...

Toploader 4 speed question by Mark
I'm entertaining the idea of installing a toploader in the '70 fastback project I purchased recently. The engine's going to be a mild 460. I'm looking for a big block toploader with the 1 3/8th input shaft. The problem is I want a wide ratio transmission and the big block transmissions are...

Battery Light by Duker
Light comes on at low rpm and brightens as rpm is increased. Battery voltage is fine and alternator charges it at 14.6V. Voltmeter on the dash indicates all is fine. Is the sensor bad ? .... how is it wired on a 1987 Mustang GT Conv ? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
