TOWING A SATURN- from theCONFUSING owners handbook ! by misterfact
200s series page 247 Towing- when you call the towing service tell them: "That your Saturn can only be towed with a vehicle carrier or wheel lift tow truck" Then on the next page (248) the idiots at Saturn contradict themselves! They say that the car can be towed on "ALL 4 WHEELS"!

1998 SL2 - Snow tire noise with summer tires by somebody[_2_]
We have a 1998 SL2 with 105,000 miles. We put snow tires on it last fall for our kid's year at college. Now it's back and has summer tires on it. But now it sounds like there are coarse tread tires, it rumbles, with pitch going up as speed goes up. Any ideas? It is loud enough to need earplugs...

HELP: 1993 Saturn SL1 Window Regulator - READ THIS!!! by B. Case
Ok Saturn guru's... I'm hoping someone can help out with this weird thing. I have a 1993 Saturn SL1 (4dr/Manual). The driver's side window regulator went, so I went to Saturn to buy the part and have a local mechanic install it. I bought the part and brought it to the mechanic. He said that...

Saturn VS Honda by Blue Dragon
I drive a 1997 Civic, never any problem other than replace timing belt, tires etc. Now have 180,000 miles and considering a Saturn. Honda gets about 36 MPG, Could I expect the miles and this type of problem free driving with a Saturn? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Oil Additive to Stop Leak? Lucas Or 10W40? Head gasket issue by lbbss
I have a slow leak in my saturn 2002 sl1 (80,000miles). The mechanic thinks it is likely the head gasket. I get about a 1 or 2 inch diameter oil leak on my driveway every day. Any product that you could recommend? I the Lucas oil stabilizer any good? Or would putting a heavier oil like...

'01 LW300 groaning by Oppie[_7_]
started getting a groaning sound from the engine that varies with rpm. Sounded originally like the power steering fluid was low but all the fluids are OK. Auto transmission fluid was a bit low and topped it up (there is no dipstick and checking level is a pain for the DIY mechanic). Shifts...

radiator leak by Mephistopheles Jones
I've got a 93 SL2 with a radiator leak. The ends of the radiator are made of hard rubber, and there is a pinhole leak on one end. Anyone know if the ends can be replaced, or do I need to get a whole new radiator? I just epoxied the thing up so I can get around a little.

Rear Dome light, 01-lw300 by Oppie[_7_]
Rear dome light went out again on the lw300. In the past I found that wiggling the diode in the left side fuse panel brought it back on. Tried it in the dark last night and the top part of the plastic package broke off in my hand. After managing to extract the remainder of the diode, found that...

2007 Saturn VUE Recall by howard[_2_]
I just received a recall letter from GM relating to my 2007 Saturn VUE( V6 AWD). The recall states that the...

Impossibly low emissions? by [email protected]
My wife's 1992 Saturn SL1 was recently run through the treadmill emissions test for Maryland, and they give us a printout with the results. The good new is, we passed easily. My question is: are these readings unusually/impossibly low? HC: 0.009 gpm CO: 0.219 gpm

Little while ago, The motor died on my rear wiper 98 Sw2 died. It's died before, and I've rebuilt it, but that was a gradual thing. This time it was just a full stop. Unfortunately my volt-meter had died and I was waiting for Canadian tire to put them on sale, so I went ahead and bought a used...

Oil Independence Day 2006 by Linda
High gas prices have created a new group of people - "pump grumblers." When pumping our high priced gas, we grumble words of resentment, while feeling powerless. We need gas, so we pay the price. Standing as a individual we are powerless, but together our voices would be heard. America is a strong,...

Saturn Vue key blank to open door by Lonette
I have a 2008 Saturn Vue. I want a cheap key to just open the door, so that I can snorkel with it. I was told at the GM dealer it would be $28.00 for the blank and $10-12.00 to cut it. That is ridiculous. I need a blank type or number so that I know what to order. --
