Damaged front wing by ray
Hi I bottomed out my 2001 vette and caught the fixing screw at the bottom of the front wing nearest the door. I have broken the area around the screw and also the back corner nearest the door. I thought the panels were fibre class but this seems like plastic?.

1980 engine replacement/upgrade by Ted Schroeder
I have a 1980 Corvette that I've done a pretty complete restoration on, but the engine is basically original and pretty beat. I really don't want to stay with a 190 hp stock engine, but I live in California and so I don't have a lot of choice about that. However, I've heard that it is possible to...

Help with Identification by sticks
I have a small block Chevy in my pick-up with the following casting numbers, can anyone help identify it's origin? Block Casting #3731548, Engine Date Stamp T312F, Head Casting #3731554. Could it have come from an early Corvette? It does have an early set of Corvette valve covers on it.

VIN Question by [email protected]
Hello, Looking for advice, I am looking at a 65 convertable. The VIN was removed during restoration and lost. It was retagged with the original ID in the State of California. The State of California tag was not placed under the glove box, but was placed in the door jam on the driver's side. ...

1987 ignition switch problem by Luke Brennan
My '87 has an intermittent problem. About 50% of the time I get in and turn the key, everyting lights up, but the starter does nothing. I wait 3 to 6 minutes, and it fires right up. Had the starter checked, nothing there. A local Chevy dealer said it is either the microchip on the key itself (I...

C4 Voltmeter by richk55
The battery on my 84 was low and I charged it. When I started the car the dash voltmeter read 10.8 volts. I had the alternator checked and it put out 14+ volts. I check the ground cables from the battery and they are OK. I checked the volts at the battery without the engine running and it read...
