'90 V8 Quattro Water and Oil Temperature Help by
GigaNews
My water and oil temperature gauges are both reading 60-65C. From what I've
gathered, the water temperature should be higher, around 90C. I assume the
water and oil gauges should read similar temperatures and since they do, I
assume they are correct.
Is checking the thermostat the reasonable...

Noisy in cold weather for short time by
Graham
Two years ago, the then nearly five year-old belts on my E36
would be pretty noisy on cold mornings, for a few minutes. The belts
still looked pretty good, but I replaced them with new ones 1½ years
ago. Last winter, no noise on cold mornings, but this year, the noise
is back. These belts are...

Does Anyone Know About These Aftermarket Cold Air Intake Upgrades... by
The Scarlet Pimpernel
I see them sold on ebay all the time for anything between 20 and 50
dollars. usually a brushed & polished tube, & washable cone filter
and couplings. Are they any good/ Do they really deliver the
horsepower boost? Interfere with throttle body intake flow or
pressure? Do any damage?
