http://www.zerohedge.com/news/head-gm-europe-steps-down I think the Vette would be a much better car if GM sold the marque to Toyota. Vito

C5 alternator question by FBNE[_2_]
I had to replace the alternator on my 2001 and discovered there are two versions of alternator. One for auto trans and one for manual. The AT alternator has a clutch, the MT does not. Basically, what/why? What does the clutch do and why does it make a difference? Mine is an AT version.

Fuel gauge 1976 C3 by BSAKing
Hi folks - I *think* I remember reading that a poor ground can cause erratic fuel sensor operation. I cannot find that reference again though,so I may be mistaken. In any event, if this is the case, would anyone happen to know where the ground lugs/points are in the wiring layout so I could check...

Starting Issue with 2001 C5 by aRKay[_4_]
I have a starting issue with my 2001 C5. The battery is good and the starter has been replaced. When I turn the key to start, there has been a few seconds delay until the starter kicks over. I think this is to allow time to check and cut off lights etc to give max cranking amps to the starter....
