2002 Civic AC works sometimes, other times it blows hot by KWW[_2_]
My daughter's 2002 Civic LX has an odd AC issue. Sometimes it blows very cold (even when the temperature is 100+ degrees outside) and other times it does not. We have tried jiggling the fan speed, temperature control, AC, and vent switches since on some vehicles those switches get "bad spots"...

Honda has released a string of new ads highlighting its refreshed, 2014 Odyssey minivan. Used Car Review: 2008 Honda S2000 by [email protected]
* They say that when you are schizophrenic you are never alone. If that is the case for cars, then the dual-identity Honda S2000 will always have a garage mate. Cruise conservatively and you may as well be driving a Miata, albeit the world's roughest riding and loudest MX-5.* Find a twisty back...

power steering fluid change? by Michael[_19_]
My dealer recommended a "fluid exchange" for my Accord. The car has 80,000 miles. I found nothing in the manual about powersteering fluid other than to make sure "it's up to the line" in the reservoir. Do I need to change it or is the dealer trying to sell me something. Thanks mm

1998 Accord FIAC Valve by [email protected]
I've been trying to diagnose a raw fuel smell in the engine compartment of my 1998 V6 Accord. While removing the intake air plenum, I was planning to replace all the vacuum hoses, including those that go to the FIAC valve. Unfortunately, one of the valve stems crumbled, so I have a new unit on...

2007 Honda CRV Maintenance Schedule by [email protected]
The Owners Manual says NOTHING about what needs to be done and when with regard to scheduled maintenance/inspections. All I know is to take it in whan the wrench shows up on the display. This makes me VERY uncomfortable, as I'm at the mercy of the dealer. Is there any definitive info on this,...

Brief "survey". Has Honda lost its way? by KWW[_2_]
Fellow newsgroup citizens, we used to be a (nearly) all Honda family - 3 Hondas and 1 classic VW Beetle (1965). On our earlier Hondas I replaced timing belts, entire engines, and some other parts myself. Now, however, the 2 remaining Honda cars I and my in-laws have seem to reflect a company...
