Miata OEM side sill/skirts installation? by
[email protected]
Trussville Mazda has a great deal going right now. In addition to
selling parts at prices cheaper than my local Mazda dealer, they are
offering free shipping for a limited time This being said, I'm
interested in getting the large OEM door sills/skirts for my 2003
Miata. I called my local dealer to...

'95 Mazda 626 by
Hemant Mohapatra
Hi,
I am planning to purchase a 1995 Mazda 626 (asking price 2600USD) and
was wondering how reliable would it be. Given that it has about 109K
miles on it (low for its age), any opinions on this model/year are
welcome. I am looking particularly at reliability atleast till
december-06 which is when...

'92 hard starting when warm!? by
[email protected]
Folks,
I have a '92 Miata with about 120,000 miles on it. For the last couple
of months I have had trouble starting it when the engine is warm. I
rarely do this but when it happens I am sweating it as it cranks and
takes me some time to start it. At that time I can smell a lot of
gasoline. ...

Premium Fuel? by
[email protected]
Is it possible to run Miata's on regular fuel with no negative
consequences?
I'm in the market for a used Miata, but am concerned about having to
pay premium gas prices.
Thanks.

NC Oil Presure Guage by
Chris D'Agnolo
Hey, did we get a real oil pressure gauge back now in the NC?
It's always really bothered me that Mazda took the low road on the oil
pressure gauge issue.
Hope they have properly rectified that issue.

Q: How often should I change the oil? by
solamour
Hello, everyone.
The subject says it all. Most people around me say I need to change
the oil every 3,000 miles (or every 3 months). I drive only short
distance, so it takes me about 6 months to reach 3,000 miles. Do I
still need to change the oil every 3 months even if I drove, say,
1,500 miles?...

mud guards 2005 MazdaSpeed? by
laocmo
Got a new black 2005 MazdaSpeed. Can't stand any more mud covered
sides. Living in a new housing zone, lots of mud from construction
trucks. Can't find any. Dealers of no help so far. Some say use 2004
for front, but none available for back because of some extra rear
plastic panel added to 2005...

ABS/Non-ABS compatibility question by
pws
I have the original non-ABS brakes on my 1991 miata that need to be
replaced. At the same time, I have the entire braking system from my
1996 model miata with ABS that is in excellent condition.
Does anyone know if I can use the calipers, brackets, and rotors from
the 1996 model on the 1991 model?...

Shreiking Engine/Clutch Noise by
KKennedy
My otherwise perfect '99 has begun making a high-pitched whine/shreik
intermittently. It starts when the car is in neutral, and I can stop it by
revving in gear up to about 4,000 RPM and then throwing out the clutch. I
can hear the whine decrease in volume and pitch and then go away...

Stainless brake lines by
[email protected]
After eight years the brake pedal action on my '99 was feeling soft so
today I had stainless steel brake lines(Goodridge) installed. I
expected a much firmer feel to the pedal but on the drive home there
didn't appear to be any difference.
The mechanic said the pads looked OK and he replace the...

Dashboard Parking Light Stays on by
Nick Havard
Hi
Yesterday my MX-5 (UK 92K) started leaving the dashboard parking light on,
when the handbrake is released. It started doing it after I used the
handbrake at a set of traffic lights.
Could someone tell me if this is a genuine indicator of a problem, or if it
is a fault such as the sensor...

Ready To Buy Another by
John McGaw
Well, as of the first week of April, my 1991 Miata will be 15 years old.
I can say that it has been the best vehicle I've ever owned with 123K on
it the major repairs consisted of a clutch, a set of brakes, a battery,
and a replacement rear window and zipper. Just routine maintenance
otherwise. Oh,...

Seat foam removal on M2 Miata? by

I have a 2003 Mazda Miata with cloth seats. No problem with the height,
but I need about an extra inch/inch and a half of addt'l leg room. I
have seen many internet posts relating to foam removal on Miata seats.
Some instructions have been as simple as the following:
