See there's this Thing.... by Jan Andersson[_4_]
For a while now, I have spotted a yellow Thing parked outside a house on my way home, maybe 5 miles from my house. It looks to be in somewhat sad shape, missing one headlight and looks like the RR tire may be shredded to pieces. It has not moved, and I don't think it has been touched all...

Just wanted to drop in and say hi... I know a few of you are still out there from a long time ago. I checked and it's been right at 10 years since I used RAMVA, so thought I was long overdue for a hello! ~Lauren aka VWGirl

Chinese 009 Q. by Mocker
I know, I should have known that you get what you pay for. but, It is causing hard starting. like it doesn't retard the spark when hot. I took it apart and on the counter-weighted advance things it has a spring on each weight. while every old German 009 has only one spring. and the old ones the...

Trick for swollen inner brake hoses by Viet Vet
those flexible rubber hoses that run to the wheel, swell up inside and tho the brakes may go on, they don't release. How to tell, the brakes get hot! my trick is to saw them off at the rubber /metal end. and use a deep socket wrench to loosen them. works like a charm. esp. at the junction block...
