First Oil Change by
EnEsX
This is directly from Honda's website:
Why should I wait to change the oil the first time?
Your Honda engine was delivered with an oil that is specially
formulated for new engines that have not yet developed their "natural"
wear patterns and may contain minute particles from the...

98 Accord - front ball joints are bad before original front brake pads? by
Cris Fuhrman
Hi,
I have a '98 Honda Accord with just 60K miles. Took it for an oil
change and the garage told me I need to replace both front ball joints
(and have an alignment). I don't really know the mechanic well enough
to trust him, so I'm unsure. I've decided not to have it done for now,
and will have it...

Which Mobil1 for late model Hondas by
rossbailey
Try the Royal Purple synthetic oil. It comes in a 5-20 and from what I have
seen, is better than the Mobil 1.

Fixing a mutilated power window door frame. 89 Accord Honda. by
Burt Squareman
The driver side power window works fine for years but
recently it will roll up halfway and stop. In an attempt to get
it up (in the pouring rain) I rock the switch quickly while
pulling the window up by hand. This was not a good idea.
An inch of the door frame that hold the bolts are gone. The
door...

MP3 Player for Honda Civic 2001?? by
Aditya Tiwari
Hi
I want to get a MP3 player for my 2001 Honda Civic Hatchback in the UK and
not lose my existing tape player. Halfords say that they can't add another
headunit to my tape unit, instead I would hv to go for a Sony MP3 CD changer
+ Adaptor for 300£.
I would like a reliable, clean-sounding and...

Cd Multichanger by
Hamish
The MP3 sounds like a good option, but space is at a premium in the NSX, and
I really don't want wires all over the place, which is why I was hoping the
car was pre wired into the boot area, without having to start disassembling
the dash board as they never seem to go back together the second time...

Driving with a new exhaust header only... by
BeachDude
I've priced out almost everything I need to tweak my engine - new
header, high flow cat, high flow muffler. And to save a few bucks on
the shop installation - I was going to do the header myself.
It's the pipe work / welding after the header I can't do. Is there any
chance of damange to my engine...

Prelude starting by
Hamish
My son has just bought a 1998 Honda Prelude 2.0i with 50000 miles and full
Honda service history. His problem is that when the engine is warm, and he
tries to start it, the starter motor turns the engine, the engine seems to
fire and then the starter motor stops, and the engine then quickly...

Follow-up: Code 43 on 90 A. EX finally cleared! by
Slipnfall
Hello,
I posted a few weeks back about trying to rid of a code 43 on the
above Accord. Since it occured I(for one reason or another), installed
a good distrib(bearing going) with coil/ign, rotor, cap, wires, plugs,
fuel filter, finally an 02 sensor, and cleaned out the EGR valve
itself... Mind you...

88 Accord Overheat by
toohothonda
I have an overheating problem with my '88 Accord. It has
193k miles on it.
On a hot day, when idling, the temperature gauge rises close to the 'H'
mark, and when I park the car and shut it off, I can hear it boiling over
under the hood. When idling, the A/C also isn't very cold. Whenever...

Try Liquid Glass, that should but a first rate shine on a black Accord.
It's a bit expensive, but it is great stuff.
